If people are mourning because the Queen meant something to them and they are sad. Then so be it.

If people are paying respects just because that is what you do when someone dies. Then so be it.

If people are celebrating the demise of a monarch who caused their family or nation to suffer great brutality. Then so be it.

We are all heroes in one story and villains in another.

I personally am very very sad, not because the Queen died, but because they made Charles the King. I was really rooting for him to be spited and skipped in the succession line.

I didn't know she could do thought, I really thought she had no powers whatsoever

On a diff note is it true that UK is in the grip of a Econonic and Energy crisis or about to be

I love Princess Diana but I think when a marriage fails, its because things were NOT OK between the husband and wife, external factors like MIL, FIL, BIL, SIL may or may not influence it..but if the bond between husband and wife is strong enough..nobody can break it..and in case of Diana - Charles was a grade A ********** who used her for his own benefit (ie to provide heirs to the throne) and went running back to the arms of Kamini Camilla..It pains me that Charles and Camilla, who wronged Diana, will now ascend to the throne as the ruling monarch..

but the only retribution is that MAYBE Charles will make monarchy irrelevant for once and for all..he isnt a very popular royal and nobody really cares about C&C..Kate is the most popular one I guess after Queen Elizabeth?

I don't care, she isn't paying my bills.

I feel sorry for George Floyd more than her.

Yup, power/electricity/gas rates have gone through the roof and its about to get worse once winter is here. We've already seen more than 50% hike in the rates and they've announced that it will increase by 100% in the coming months.

People with family/children dependent on single earning members will be hit the most.
