I have not been a constant follower of the show and hence don’t know of him. So, can anyone tell me who he is and how Sai knows him?

His name is Jagtap Mane. He is a Gadchiroli local goon who used to obsessed with Sai. He Sai Joshi's father Kamal Joshi's murderer. Actually, Kamal Joshi aka Sai ke aaba takes the bullet to save Virat from Jagtap's shot.

Jagtap also murders Samrat, Virat's cousin. Currently, he is out after serving jail sentence and is reformed
