Ranveer was great in the film. It entertains me and makes me feel so many emotions.

wahan 200-300 cr ki movie hain and 2 log bhi nahin hain theater mein aur upar se ye koi om puri, irfan khan, mamooty level art movie bhi nahin hain, "popular" award le rahe hain, kaahe ka popular pata nahin.

I blame his PR for this. Actually, this has been happening a few times lately where the celebrity’s PR sends the same memo to every media outlet and they all copy and paste it. As a PR firm you get paid an arm and a leg. Work a little for that money and write different notes for different paps or media outlets. That way you won’t be making a mockery out of your client.

Ranveer Singh is an amazing actor and very versatile. He doesn’t really need to resort to these gimmicks. It appears that 83 and Jayeshbai flopping has really made him and his team nervous. Perhaps the state of industry is making them unsure of Cirkus too. Majority of social media talk about Filmfare is about whether he deserved to win over Sid. Speculation is rife that he got it because he wanted it and hosted the show. An over eager PR can backfire on you. Ask Alia, or your wife. As someone said in another post, when you do things like this for an iffy award you make people question it the next time when you truly do deserve the win.

Yes it's an excellent performance and yes the films fail but your work didn't fail.

Itna tension mat lo. Take selfies with the right people, don't talk much. Keep choosing good scripts.

Baki audience loves you any way.

He was good. Some of the Kapil Dev mannerisms were spot on.

But yeah generation defining thoda jyada hai. 😆

Good he won , tho he was ok in 83 but I loved him in jayeshbhai Jordaar , so all good !
