Firstly I am kinda tired of the parents dying in all shows..they just don't have any other method to steer the story in a diff direction . 🙃 I wish basit and sadia patch up , and then she leaves to wherever she came from. Putting him through this guilt and making him cry so much, I don't see the point . It was so visible that he loved his mom to infinity . He didn't like hurting her nor could he see her in pain , but jitna pyar tha utna hi gila bhi tha ..

I didn't like Ayesha guilt tripping him. Ok thoda bahut theek hai she was traumatized but more than basit , seriously? I liked her at one point only in the entire epi where he tells her why r u throwing sarcastic comments on me and she realizes it , gathers herself and sits next to him ..

The scene where he talks to Ayesha was THE BEST basit scene . In all his prev shows fk has shown his range.. he plays this bad boy transforming into a good guy towards the end and there his emotional scenes kill it ..therez nobody better than him , he is just the best ..Mr perfection . 🥰

Glad he told ayesha she would never understand what he went through as a child..ayeshas understanding of this situation was pretty one sided.

In the last scenes , good to see Ayesha smiling like that and it looks like she has found her space around basit .

I liked Ayesha calling fahad when basit didn't open the door and thereafter their convo. Fahad is always there for basit and bano for ayesha. I wish their equation is never tainted.

Fahad was awesome , so was bano . 👏 fahad noticed bano , I felt basit also noticed that he did..

Well I have been saying that humsafar type twist may come wherein basit might mu ayesha but I wish It doesn't play out like that 😕 I don't want fahad and basit to be tainted . Ayesha complaining abt basit is getting a little ott now ..arre thoda kuch happy moments dikha do before the siyappa we know will occur

You're right. The makers have really decided to make Basit sad and lonely and guilt-ridden. Wish he didn't have to go through so much pain for the story to move forward.

I too wanted to see a resolution between the mother and son. Maybe learn a little about what happened in the past. And finally Basit could have his closure and move forward in life happily. I am so bummed we will not see this happening.

I think Sadia dying was important for Basit to openly show his vulnerable side to Ayesha. This pain will be a way to bring them closer.

I was okay with what Ayesha said in the maiyyat scene. She had formed a close bond with Sadia and that was her giving voice to her frustrations with Basit in regard to the mother and son duo.

But later in the room when Basit pours his heart out....and still she kept taunting and guilting him...really felt very unnecessary to me. Yes agreed you are sad. But that guy is shattered. Kuch achha nahi bol sakti toh bura toh mat bolo.

Good that Basit called her out on her rude behaviour. And instantly she realises her mistake and tries to comfort him. But again the next day, she is back to petty taunts like jab thi tab baat nahi karte the aur ab unke alawa koi aur baat hi nahi karte. Girl, let the boy grieve however he wants. What is this judgement.

Fahad was the best and a sea of calm in this emotionally charged episode. Loved how he gave strength to Basit. I pray their friendship is not sacrificed for a cheap plot twist.

What I hope to see is that he realises that Ayesha is always smiling at Fahad's presence. And he gets jealous over the fact that Basit cannot make her laugh like that. Would be lovely to see that.

True about Basit's sadness also being flip-flop like his anger😆 When he finally opens the door and says abhi zinda hoon, not gonna lie, I laughed.

Bano maintaining her professionalism was such a treat to see. Looking forward to more scenes of them together.

It may not play out like fahad and ayesha , like he heard her talking on the phone , he may think there is some man but he'll never think of fahad . If he knows it's fahad he won't mind ..

Ayesha constantly complaining abt the khoklapan, basit aisa nai vaisa nai may cement his doubt that she is looking for comfort elsewhere. That he can't keep her happy .

Here I can't see any love between the two of them..basit sometimes shows he cares but that's it and ayesha toh is miles afar , even when they r in the same bedroom..she has quite a low opinion on him..whenever someone praises him, she makes a face ...fahad also had to tell her specifically to stop taunting basit as he is not stable....

basit ka is still understandable bec he doesn't care abt anyone in his life ..he has this mechanical life in office and at home ..pyar ka khayal toh door door tak nai hai but Haan the thought of ayesha betraying him would be the worst trigger n I am scared of that..I would want it to be more like zgh than humsafar ..where the leads take a leap of faith in the end and trust their love over petty issues...

But I am starting to get annoyed with ayesha. I am not clear on what she wants. What will make her happy . If she couldn't understand that she will have to be more adjusting , compromising and patient with basit ,just for some more time , then it's over ..initially there has to be something on which they build the foundation of love and marriage .

But just want to say one thing and this is giving away spoilers but noone will mind since I think everyone has watched the epi by now...but I am feeling quite giddy thinking that from the guy who said that he did not care what anyone thought of him, to this man who is really getting so pained by Ayesha's hurtful jibes...farak toh par raha hai .

And truly we do hurt those we love the most and are hurt by them in turn because if we do not love someone, their words would not affect us.

And I love that look Basit gave Fahad when Bano was speaking to Ayesha...it could have meant anything really but I am choosing to read it my way

If fahad bano works out, these four would make such an amazing group...and hopefully we will get more such warm homely scenes of them.

Basit surely deserves a thousand hugs!! And you are right about the camera staying on him which gives the audience a chance to see him emote. That scene with ayesha was so beautifully shot. The way that camera stills on his face while he is speaking just increases the agony by leaps.

I sometimes forget Ayesha is just barely finished college. Thanks for the reminder😆 I like her because she is not afraid to show the mirror to Basit. But she needs to tone down the taunts really. The boy is broken right now.

Qudsia saying mai tumhari maa jaisi huu to Basit was all sorts of ridiculous. No one should get a mother like her.

Till now, I at least understood her motivations because agreed that raising 3 daughters alone is difficult. The problems she might have faced have made her bitter towards life. But what she is doing with Zoya is plain selfish. Willingly marrying your daughter to someone her father's age is plain disgusting.

Ayesha's behaviour was truly hurtful and I like the fact that she is not shown to be perfect. Just as Basit has behaved badly in the past, Ayesha's behaviour at present is very wrong and ill-judged. Even Qudsia gave her the right advice. Fahad also tried to tell her in his way. Maybe in the next episode we will have Fahad actually make her understand Basit’s grief.

Zoya running away will be the perfect reply to Qudsia's bad parenting...like seriously the woman is so oblivious to how to raise her daughters. She has been lucky with Bano and Ayesha but Zoya will teach her a lesson she needs to learn...hopefully...you never can tell with Qudsia.

And seriously, Basit when he is trying to explain himself to Ayesha...oh my god... the boy actually felt that he should explain to Ayesha so she does not think he is some kind of heartless person! Ayesha cannot understand him though...not yet. Just as he had not understood her feelings during their car conversation...the way you see Basit retreat into himself as soon as Ayesha speaks...knowing she doesn't get him...oh lord. Basit has won our hearts with this episode.

Koi bolo ayesha ko ke she was doing exactly the same to basit what basit was doing to sadia. If basit actually attempted suicide will ayesha not feel guilty ?

At some.point one must forgive and move on. Not.hold onto bitter memories of the past and spoil their present ..

I am glad fahad was there for basit . The best friend one could ask for..❤️Fahad and bano are my lead pair of Habs while fk is the bestam best actor in habs. 😎

Ok. I know everyone is dreading the shakki husband wala trope. I did as well. But honestly, I think it is actually necessary over here.

In Basit's mind, his mom is still a cheater. Poor guy never even got closure. For once, in a Pak drama, it actually makes total sense that he feels insecure and doubts his wife. Now that I think about it, him NOT doing it would be kinda wierd and unrealistic. Ayesha and Basit have still not developed the understanding that married couple naturally develop over time. He has his walls up all the way. Yes, he is opening up, sure. But his fear of abandonment is still exceedingly high. Even in real life, we struggle with out traumas and insecurities well into our 20's, even with good support system. Our poor hero was first abandoned my his mother and then by his dad (I know he died but it did leave Basit totally alone). I think we have seen so many senseless shakki husband stories on every godforsaken drama that now when it truly makes sense for the storyline to go that way, we are wary of it.

But I feel that is the only way Basit will truly learn to overcome his innermost fear, that of being betrayed by women closest to him. I think he's trying in the best way he knows how to. We can see he really wants to build a connection with Ayesha but he is afraid of letting down those damned walls. Banda itna sad tha iss episode mein that just didn't remember to do that. Varna har baari kuch na kuch stupid bol deta hai that hurts or pisses Ayesha off. Miya biwi dono paagal hai. Par bohot hi pyaare hain. 😆

Farhad the big advisor is sort of shy it seems.. Though.. He did try to extend their time and have her stay for lunch or breakfast.

@green: That could be logical. Him knowing that Ayesha is not happy will give him a reason to feel insecure. Anyways the banda has abandonment issues.

Both Basit and Ayesha are a long way away from love. What they first need is to form an understanding. Thodi si mutual bonding is much needed at this point.

Like Twerping said, we shouldn't forget that Ayesha is still quite young. So, some mistakes toh she will do. Let's not get too angry with her for that.
