Well I dunno abt the other shows but the ones I've seen ,intimacy and romance ke naam par abhi bhi zgh holds the first position..that too bec the hero was charming and his character is like he knows how to flatter women ! Otherwise pyar ke naam pe either we have obsession and passion or nothing at all ..they make it a point to show that pyar karna hai toh Allah se karo, nai toh uske peeche pade raho jo tumse pyar hi nai karta..expression of love is besharmi, badnami ka sabab , banned for girls.., husband wife r so subtle , lagta hai they r importin kids from an alien planet...let's see if musadiq proves me wrong .

A couple should discuss about their wishes and jobs before marriage. Ayesha Omar (forgot her screen name) took her time to understand Basit and make it clear that she has her life. Ayesha (Ushnah) didn't discuss anything. After marriage a wife isn't free to do what she wants. Islamic rules say that she shouldn't go out of her house without taking approval from her husband. A husband is responsible of his wife.

Here Ayesha would've been more settled down had he accepted their marriage, and made her feel like a life partner.. but it is clear that Basit doesn't know about feelings and relationships.. if he wants her to obay him, he should've behaved like a real husband..

But in the scene at the Cafe, Basit specifically reassured Ayesha that she would not have to leave her job. They may not have had a full fledged discussion on this but Ayesha would have gone ahead on his reassurance (that he voluntarily gave). Therefore the sudden U turn that he did after marriage would definitely have come as a rude shock to her. Any woman would feel betrayed.
