Zubair an online fact checker (irony), ran an edited video of only Nupur’s debate portion. He tagged Middle East countries and dog whistled that Nupur insulted. After that started riots and bounties on NS head.
Whether what she said was wrong or not, what Zubair did was worse. If he was offended, he could’ve filed a case of her. Why dog whistle to other countries. Did he not know there will be safety concerns? I am sure he did. He did it knowingly.
Riots all over India. 3-4 people have lost life. NS is done for whole life. Zubair is out and posting selfies amongst intolerant Hindus.
No.thsts not real truth.nupur Sharma said about prophet mohmmad in 5 different news channels on that day.the sane thing she spoke .she didn't stop even after the anchor was asking her to stop saying such words. And other side was saying that they believe it was favvara instead of shilling.Anyways this is a subjudice topic.they should not discuss that.it is against the law.
Secondly zubair did not post edited version.i follow his Twitter handle.he just showed us that tv channels are using religion as a medium to create communal hatred.he also posted clips of Muslim maulana.
As a fact checker/journalists, it was his duty to expose these media houses as they do not address issues like unemployment, inflation, development. But propagate such issues which can only devide society.
