After Basit's introduction of his mom, he hurts her, but also himself, and even worse. He thought he would feel relieved by speaking those words but...
After the awkwardness and embarrassment, I think this was perhaps the best scene.. Sadia is crying and singing happy birthday to her son.. A mother's love is so great..
The pain mother and son are going through.. I feel for both. Sometimes there is just no right or wrong..
Sadia says to Ayesha that she can't be strict with although she knows she should. I hope she does..
Ayesha and Basit having actual good conversations is also something I am looking forward too.
Oh.. And Bano.. Of course, I want to speak about my beloved Bano.. This girl.. I like her savage and clear replies in the office. And her understanding with Basit seems solid in terms of keeping it professionally.
Zoya and Amir conversation. Zoya does call out Amir on his behaviour. Oh God.. What is Qudsia thinking?! They casted the boy who came to see Zoya so well though i dont support what Qudsia has planned for Zoya 😆

And it is true we have never actually seen Basit putting food in his mouth but he has sat down to have meals before the camera cutting to another scene 😆 I felt that in ep 13 you see Basit start having breakfast before leaving for work. The first morning Ayesha tells him one should have breakfast in the morning. The next day there is arrangement for breakfast. There are three places set at the table close to each other, and Basit calls out for Ayesha before he sits down so which means he was expecting to have breakfast with Ayesha that morning. Unfortunately he had also scolded her badly the previous night and so she did not want to be around him.
Also can I just wonder here...Basit woke up that morning (when he gave her the money in ep 13) and Ayesha was not in the room, because he must have thought that she had already gone downstairs and so had called out her name. So the first morning Basit woke up before Ayesha and the next morning Ayesha woke up when Basit was still asleep. I wish there was a scene where we get to see them see each other sleeping...because Basit for one looks so vulnerable when he sleeps. And perhaps Ayesha's worry disappears when she is dreaming.
Sadia telling Ayesha that she is noticing these changes in Basit is the cutest thing ever and also stuff that Ayesha really needs to hear. Because she doesn't see Basit's eyes when he is looking at her when she isn't looking at him.
Sadia keeps telling Ayesha to not leave Basit. Again perhaps that too is necessary since Basit is such a prickly cactus at times.
The cake cutting scene was absolutely amazing! Truly Sadia when she is breaking down and trying to sing Happy birthday is one scene I will never forget.
Bano in Basit's office is shaping up well! We do have a lot of expectations from this plot development.😳
Zoya and Amir's phone conversation for the first time made me realise that Zoya is a teenager. And the person who came to see Zoya! 😆Qudsiya really is one of the strangest mothers ever...I am glad we got Zoya's rishta scene out of the way because in today's episode I have a feeling while Basit and his mother's relationship will form the main focus, in the Sadiq House, Zoya will run away.
