I dont know why I am investing my brain cells and writing this. The separation itself is so forced that it took a while to understand what led to it :D.
Anyways, from plot point of view I want to write something that might be a good closure to the characters...I dont know how much writers invest in showing the closure but this is what I want. I know it is futile to expect anything meaningful from this show but I have this compulsive disorder to analyze/help this plot. 🤔
Jagtap, Family(BK), Pakhi, Virat and Sai are the main characters according to me
Jagtap:
He is the most important character in the journey of Sai, if not Virat. He is tied to her destiny from the beginning. Though Sai is not involved with him in any way, his mere presence has changed the course of her life, not once but twice. He killed her father, making her life turn a drastic turn. If Virat had not married her but just supported her, things would have been different. He being a reckless maniac and being the son of the politician, people forced virat to marry Sai and give her the needed protection. On top of that Virat was already bounded by his promise to his Guru to protect Sai. We debated why Virat had to marry Sai to protect her, there are several theories, the simplest one being that he wanted to give her the family and security. His 'extra' care might have come from the fact that she was KJ's daughter.
Jagtap, when came the second time took away Sai's strongest support, Samrat. Samrat could have been the grounding force in SaiRat marriage. His demise again in the hands of Jagtap turned her life upside down. It had an avalanche effect after his death. Again his mere presence in her life, caused utmost devastation.
No one but Sai could have treated him after causing such disastrous events in her life. Now, if he comes back as the same old Jagtap and finds Sai alone without Virat near by, he would definitely destroy her life and hurt her child. But Sai's good karma and his own time in Jail has changed him. There are no strings attatched to Sai from him. Jagtap withdrew himself from her life. But Sai has not forgiven him, in that way still tied to him.
Jagtap, a changed man will not find peace till she forgives him. So the closure should be through his sacrifice for Sai. He separated a daughter from her father by killing him. Now I want him to save the daughter of the same girl he wronged and unite the girl child with her father who she has been craving to meet. Jagtap and Savi's bond will drive him for this sacrifice. I think this is the only way he will find closure and Sai will forgive him, closing his chapter forever in her life. Jagtap again will be initiating another biggest turn in her life...for good!
Family:
By no standards, Sai deserved this family. Virat thought she would get the warmth and protection from them but they got it all from Sai in reverse. Still they didnt value her as much as they should( Virat I will talk later as he needs special treatment ). They live in their own lala land and think it is the happiness. Now that they have lived good amount of time 'without' Sai, they must be knowing what real happiness is when she comes back. Getting good profits in Santra business or being a politician is not the real hapiness but having genuine smiles on the faces is. As Sai said to UM, everyone is living a lie in CN. They have to see the light of the 'truth'. I am having a hunch, that there is a BIG lie yet to be unraveled.
Also, the biggest lie they are living is their love for Vinu. The lie is reflected on the face of Vinu. The boy is not happy. He is not receiving as much love as he should. He is just a bandaid on their pain of losing their original heir. Only Virat seems to love him unconditionally which can be counted as a part of his redemption at being a father. Now when Savi enters the scene, their hypocrisy will be out in the open. They are the same insensitive people at the heart. They might not hate Vinu, but I think he will be sidelined. And their closure will be when Vinu is proven to be their own blood😃. In that foot in mouth situation, they will realize what matter is 'love' and 'compassion'. Not the blood line. You can be cruel to the same person who is your bloodline. it is all in the mind and how we conduct ourselves.
Pakhi
Pakhi has not changed. She will not change being in that house, tied to Virat in some way. The 'positive' woman would have walked out of that house after what had happened. She literally destroyed a family. She doesn't simply let it go. Not when all the 'physical' obstacles are cleared. She sees only that much. Sai, the biggest obstacle is gone without any return. And she has gone filling the family with resentment towards her. This is the best opportunity for her to turn everyone towards her. Her only true bond, as she defines for herself is Vinu. I think she is over VIrat after the delivery. She shifted her attention towards Vinu already.
Now that Sai is gone, she has Vinu to herself. Virat if he comes to her, well and good otherwise she is Okay to have Vinu with her and family around her. She still enjoys the attention from them. If she knows the real identity of Vinu, which I am sure she knows, then she is doing the same thing with Virat that she has been doing from the beginning. Keeping his happiness in her control, first Sai's mind and now Vinu. Vinu will not bond with her, not because she is not his biological mother, but because she is living a lie. The pressure of hiding this lie, will take a toll on her actions. She takes 'care' of him but cannot 'love' him. When you love someone, you can handle their rejection and still have the same warmth towards them. When you only 'care' for them, you expect something in return. Pakhi is trying to GET some validation from Vinu. Her insistence in finding whether he missed her, her disappointment when Vinu rejected 'her' medicine/care shows that she is desperately trying to seek something which is not entitled to.
Virat gets love in return of his love towards Vinu. He loves him unconditionally, knowing that he is not his blood. That is misisng in Pakhi. Thats why the boy could not bond with her or the family.
Pakhi's closure is not Virat rejecting her again but Vinu rejecting her. The effect will be more if she knows who Vinu is! She will realize then..hopefully when the boy runs to his mother, the woman who loved unconditionally even for few hours. It is not the nature, but nurture that wins in the end. Pakhi will realize, Vinu coming from her birth canal amounts to nothing when she cannot nurture him enough.
Virat and Sai
I kind of combined them because they will find closure only when they are together. Their relation screams only one thing. NO TRUST. There is love but what is the use?. One turbulence, they drift apart. They dont know how to hold on to each other. Virat doesnt give importance to her, Sai doenst give him time. Now with this separation, Virat hopefully realized how to handle Sai. She is a strong willed woman with her own mind. She is not a regular woman he finds in his family. He has to learn to make her part of his mahan plans. She is not someone who is going to tolerate his misjudgments and keep quiet hoping that things will fall into place. She is someone who takes charge. Virat should 'consider' her in all his decisions. Make her an equal partner and give the role she deserves in his life and his family.
Sai, I dont know how else she should behave. She has tolerated a lot in the name of love from her miscarriage. May be she should learn to give her snail paced husband some more time, trust his love for her. Be more open about her thought process and decisions and trust him that he will not leave her even if he doesnt agree with her. She would have known Virat's love for her if she had trusted him a bit and gone back to him after the accident. He would have been angry but they would have been in this mess together. But unfortunately, Virat did not earn that trust from her.
So now their closure would be to develop the trust factor in their marriage. Stick together when things go wrong. Love without trust and respect is no good. This is the lesson they should learn.
Once they are back, they should forgive eachother and move on, if they cannot lead a happy life without each other. Sai will have the complaint that he didnt love her enough because he married THE woman in her absence and Virat will have the complaint that she didnt trust him enough to come back to him after the accident. They will have to forgive each other for this mess, to avoid any further resentment.
PS: I cant see this story going beyond 100 more episodes. By this year, it should be a wrap.
