As usual on point review as expected of him.

I like how well he was able to articulate about the core of Forrest Gump that too in so few words.🙌

yes, agree, same with prthviraj, audience sensibility has changed rapidly in the last few years

younger actor, low budget and tighter script and wrap up in ayr or so and it would have done well

i remember in olden films actors used to be so unfit and pudgy but one point tide totally changed

same now, audience are exposed to korean, hw and young stars from south they will compare

also taste of audience in acting has also changed, they are liking natural subtle performances

i think pk if released now would have been trolled for acting, aamir was a natural actor. god knows when he jumped into this unnatural style

i couldnt watch pk style then itself, till ghajini he was great (dangal was ok)

Dhoom mf 3! Smh feels like he just got stuck in that world.. success ka nasha, as in for the first time he got to make a sh!t movie successful instead of his usual reliance on good scripts and directors or whatever but it seems to be the turning point for the worse for Aamir (PK, TOH, LSC). Dangal now feels like the exception rather than the rule! Tsk tsk sed🥲

Haan bach gya..turns out Adi Chopra was right this is an episodic film and not plot heavy so newcomer should not be cast.

Adi offered Junaid a period film which i believe would be plot driven and as per Junsid's personality coz Aamir mentioned Junaid is in no hurry for debut

good point

because of director, nitesh tiwari is good on his own so he kept the control, same as kamal hassan with lokesh (vikram) he is fine, others he will go haywire

problem for these actors is that they have to learn to completely surrender to directors if they want good directors to take them on

There were reports that it is amir who doesn't want him to debut till he is acting. Because it would age him in the minds of the audience. Junaid is almost 30. why wouldn't he want to debut?

But ya. This was not a film for newcomer.

yeah, it is puzzling, these ppl have to hustle, if you come at 30 and take 10 yrs to establish you will never be able to play young roles

hate him or love him look at how akshay how he is churning out movies, of course balance is important but it also shows the hunger of somebody who comes from scratch ( maybe for money but whatever)

My understanding was that Aamir didn't want to launch him directly, but rather have Junaid audition for other filmmakers.

Personally it doesn't seem like he cares if his kids have careers in BW. Because otherwise, they would have been launched by now

Aamir was good and received critical acclaim for 3I and PK.Talaash,Dhobi Ghat and Dangal to add more. He did a fantastic job as what was required as PK.

He is trying to act young while adopting a similar approach to PK to play LSC which seems to be criticised. His transformation as sardar as an old char was far different and much better is what I get from reviews or few people have across.

Any actor can go wrong in his approach while playing a char. If the char is iconic and if an actor f**s up playing them it gets more trashed.Simple.

Amitabh had a stinker as Gabbar in RGV ki Aag.Sridevi in Puli.

Most of times, would say the last decade,he resonates with what I feel abt a film with exception of Kamal,Mani as he is a fan of those two. I have come across few individuals and even they felt the same abt the film.
