No one expected this to open at 50cr like TOH. But 20-30cr was very reasonable and quite frankly feasible. The movie predominantly got great to excellent reviews. Even videos of general public walking out of theaters gave great and supportive reviews. So what went wrong?

At this point it’s hard to believe that the boycott campaign didn’t affect this. And I don’t think it’s restricted to social media. I think it has certainly seeped into the mainstream media and real world. I know 2022 has been a bad year for the industry, and a lot of factors post pandemic are at play. I’m not saying the boycott was the main reason. I just think that this is not like 4-5 years ago where boycotts were limited to twitter and didn’t affect anything. I think the boycott was one of the factors here.

Well it's not the boycott trend which led to these results rather it's the bad acting by aamir and the overall vibe of the movie (OTT vibe). Honestly I expected this, i don't understand why everyone is shocked!.. Trailer dekh ke laga movies bekaar hogi
