I mostly love Aamir khan movies. For a long time now, he’s been the ONLY Khan with any kind of script sensibility. But despite the fact that I get free tickets, I don’t feel like watching this movie at all. I’ve seen the OG and this isn’t even an adaptation, it’s an official remake so there will be literally nothing new to see. This weekend, Raksha bandhan has 2 shows running at my local theatre, LSC has about 10. Don’t get it twisted. People aren’t not going to watch this because of some Twitter trend. Let’s not act like most of this wasn’t a PR stunt from Aamir and Co. Bollywood has some serious introspection to do if they’re struggling to get people to watch their movies even on a national holiday. SMH.

Movie is getting good reviews but not really strong reviews like PK or Dangal. The surprising part is many reviews (even positive ones) mentioned Aamir's performance is not upto the mark and kind of misfit for the role.

I still have to read more than 10 pages but what DarkRock wrote is what I guessed after having watched the trailer...Aamir's wide eyes acting is something I really don't want to watch for the 4th time...

I suppose that there is a lot to enjoy (the Punjab journey, Kareena, some "historical" moments, some cameos, the feel-good intention) but I already had a hard time to finish PK...
