He is not manipulating both. Its so clear that Sai's daughter has not met his father . She made an imaginary drawing. May be she considers some one as her father figure who is from police dept.

The promo is cut that way as if both families are waiting for him. Pakhi and vinu reside in CN along with Virat. And he is buying toys for vinu , not savi.
