Of course you can challenge patriarchy when you are a product of patriarchy! How do you think Arjun got away from dating Salman’s ex sister in law without being exiled or even worst. Alia has had the most powerful backing behind her - dad and adoptive dad. Deepika and Anushka didn’t have that and Katrina had the backing of Salman because she kept quiet and did what she was told. She didn’t challenge anything, she got offered meaty roles because she is Alia Bhatt but she is talented and smart enough to sustain at the top so that’s on her. If she really was a maverick in BW she wouldn’t have chosen to marry a Kapoor.

This girl and her papa Jo will be the reason of Bollywood’s downfall. If she is the best Bollywood has to offer then I am afraid Bollywood standards have gone down the drain.

Man, what sad and pathetic lives some rich folks lead. They can have everything they had ever wanted but still would be insecure as hell to stoop to nonsense like this. It's crystal clear that it's her PR, everyone's calling her out. Some gullible folks might fall for the trick but in general the audience have really wisened up in the last few years, so there's no chance of pushing this narrative further.

Her not being cast in those movies is not on her volition though. She lacks the physical appeal to be a leading lady in a Khan movie. She wouldn't be able to hold her own. Anushka and DP were also pretty young when they were cast opposite SRK for their first movie and they both were nothing short of spectacular for their first movies. So it's not really age factor that Alia's PR harps on. Age never mattered. Sridevi was a leading actress by age 13, imagine that. Alia simply lacks the appeal and is constrained in her performances. So she has KJo get her tailor made roles. Now a DP, Anu never would have been able to enjoy such perks. It took literally a decade for them respectively to even to get to a bargaining position with their films directors.

They are not only messing up the image of yester year's actresses but making a mockery of the Khan stardom (which was very real up until a decade ago, something that today's heroes cannot replicate), and maligning the hardwork of outsiders like DP, Kat and Anushka who one way or another made BW entertaining and worth watching. For a DP to do Piku and have it work on her stardom and a Anushka to have movies be made on her PH and a Kat to have audience to come to her movies, they have worked their butts off. What asswipe wrote this article bruh. She and her PR just shat on everyone's years of hardwork. BW has become an infestation not worth enjoyable anymore. Then we have folks here wondering why people are against the nepo gang.

Alia is in the middle of a press-tour for her new film. Of course there are articles exaggerating her success. Ranbir, Ranveer, Karthik have all been called the last superstar on their respective magazine covers in the last six months or so. You all don't need to shout PR PR everywhere ☢️
