They are star kids, they can't have any hard problems, anything. Bas lock it?

What kind of bias 1 sided belief is this? How do u know masaba isn't facing any hard time, do u have proof, let me see?

GP,

Struggle comes on a scale. Neena Gupta's daughter would've struggled more than Mahesh Bhatt or Hema Malini's daughter, but she did not struggle more *just to get Bollywood work* than a random outsider. Because she already had contacts. Maybe not the money, but she already had people she knew and would give her an ear about her ideas.

Like Sid from Gully Boy said, their struggle starts where that of the outsiders ends.

If I got 30 minutes to sell my story to Netflix India, I'd consider it success. That's where she started.

Masaba Gupta actually says that children of famous people in Bollywood have it harder than newcomers coming from nowhere.

🤣 Who is masaba ? Is this script written by kjo ? 😆

All assumptions, no single proof or fact that yes they didn't faced any problem.

It's today's trend "BASH STAR KID", bas just we have to point at they being rich and priveleged. Enough.

I'm not bashing her because she's rich and privileged. Why would I? I want to be rich and privileged also.

I'm bashing her because she thinks her struggle in Bollywood is worse or the same as that of someone with no connections. And for saying she has to work harder BECAUSE she is an insider. NOTE: I didn't say she didn't face any problem. I'm saying her problems start where those of the outsiders end: ACCESS.

If I ever get to be rich and privileged, I'd hope I'm never as blinded.

If she feels that way then she can't express, she can't say it, she isn't any human being, she doesn't have any right coz she is rich and privileged, we know better than her. Wow, simply shut up her if she feels that way because she can't say it.

But yes, any outsider can say anything, we all will believe.

Airheads

Apna privilege ko acknowledge nahi kar sakte

Kitna difficult hai ye samajhna ki there is a difference between someone inside film industry jo filmy logon ke sath party karte hain, dinner karte hain, hangout karte hain

Aur someone jo bahar se aya ho aur kisiko janta hi na ho

Aaj Kareena KWK me bol rahi thi ki Aamir asking her to give screen test was a shock for her kyonki apne 22 years old career me usko ye karna na pada hai

She can say anything. Who denied her the right to be as verbally callous as she wants?

And I am as free as her to criticize what she says because man, it hurts to hear that much dumb arrogance camouflaged in self pity.

FYI, this ain't my troll persona. I really am a writer. I am not begrudging her access. I'm just saying she has at least that to start with. I won't get that chance except through divine intervention. So for her to say she struggled more than the likes of me is a bit hard to stomach.

Anyway, you have your views. I've in fact argued in favor of star parents to do whatever to support their kids because it's their money and hard-earned reputation. But I can't handle being told I have it easier when I clearly don't, so ciao. 😊

i have realised the way to frame such things is to acknowledge ones privelege and than talk about ones issues or difficulties

example, i used to talk to say the security or drivers in our office and topic veers to prices, i used to say yeah its so tough, if i am finding it so tougher, must be so much tougher for you

the problem here is that they dont even want to acknowledge

Obviously I didn’t know the whole story but just remember reading a header like that on this forum sometime back. This whole outsider insider thing is so confusing. Not too long ago people used to proudly flaunt their connections and even the audience used to be extra affectionate towards them. I remember my grandma loving nagarjuna only because he happens to be the son of her most favorite actor ANR. 😅
