I have to say I haven’t been excited for a Bollywood film in ageeeeess
Akshay being akshay doing akshay kinda films is barely exciting anymore
Salman off radar , srk off radar
Hrithik off radar (no immediate releases this year atleast)
Aamir making uninspiring looking remakes
Add to this none of ranbir, ranveer, ayushman, rajkumar, kriti, kiara, alia (even if good actors) hold any sorta charisma to create mass hysteria like khans in their prime or bacchan …
Coming to directors ,
Raju hirani exhausting his “goodness” formula with sanju
Yrf churning out one disaster after another and not even bothering with it
Farah khan making films more like shirish kunder and less like Farah khan
Rohit shetty bhai beating the cop universe concept to death
Kjo abandoning the one genre he did well in (cheesy romance/ family drama) to do more “woke” and “cool” films
Anurag kashayp plateauing out with his films …
Farhan Akhtar not making films …
Sigh
Legit the only filmmaker who manages to create some excitement is SLB …he manages to give some drama, melodrama, seeti dialogues, actors with good chemistry and overall good aesthetics
