A girl pretending to be a boy and prevailing over the hurdles of her life seems good on screen, but if you think about the reality then it is horrendous. I'm thinking about all those girls and women who don't have any men in their families and just need to live a respectable life by doing some job, but society doesn't let them do this. This is why so many women keep enduring the abusive behavior of their husbands, brothers, fathers, etc. as they know that men outside their homes will make their lives even worst. We watch a drama in which a woman is tolerating the abusive behavior of men in her life and we question why is she not taking any step to stop it, but the reality is that when such a woman takes a step then these abusive men threaten her to leave the home and this threat stops her to do anything. When we look at a woman who is very confident and independent, making decisions of her life, and not taking sh*t from any man then almost always it is because she has the back of a progressive and supportive man in her life. This drama makes me so sad, not because of what happened in the drama but because of the bitter realities of our society.
As for the episode, Bakhtawar's thoughts when she first went out of the home as a boy were everything.. the difference she felt, the freedom she experienced was everything.. Yumna did a fabulous job as always..
Zaviyar's entry is a pleasant surprise as I was expecting that he'll come in the latter phase of her life.. he looks good with a beard.. looking forward to the next episode..
