Rudyard Kipling's

An Autograph collector tried hard to get Rudyard Kipling's Autograph in vain. The Autograph collector read in a news paper that the Author earned as much as a dollar for each word he wrote. So the collector wrote a letter saying that he heard that the Author is getting $ 1 for his writing and enclosed a cheque for a dollar, and requested for a sample. Promptly Rudyard Kipling sent him a post card signed with a single word : "Thanks."

There is this anecdote of Pres Lyndon Johnson / or the other Pres Johnson – Son / Father of U S of A – I cannot recollect. Pres Johnson known for short and sweet speeches ; A close friend of Pres Johnson noticed that whenever the President's wife was on Dais along side with him usually passed a small note almost at the end of every speech. The friend saw the note contained KISS. The friend was appreciative and mentioned to Pres Johnson who responded thus : KISS is short for Keep It Short, Stupid !!
