s3 is I think a blipā¦š¤£ I didnāt get till there though, I read through the synopsis⦠I was like, they made that out of this?š¤ŖOriginally posted by: tournesol
I am so glad you gave Krpkab a try and enjoyed watching it. I think it is one the best shows that demonstrates how a narc parenting looks like, and its consequences. Very well written show and characters. The show has a nice arc, esp till episode 143 or so. (krp's S3 is like HP's cursed child. 𤣠Unnecessary and ruins a beautiful story)
Initial episodes of Balh2 also had the looks of that kind of soft love story, realistic characters... and toxic parents š . Now only, the toxic part remains well established in the show. Except Pihu. Ram-Pihu scenes are still blissful.
I am still in season 1⦠Suhana is yet to call Dev ādad/papaā⦠I am seeing a realistic 6/7yr old, no dadi Amma dialogues⦠āJUST PERFECT šā And golu is all ā¤ļø .
Btw, Ishwari isnāt narcissistic, if anything, she is like meera and vedika mixture⦠ek lamba thesis ho sakti hai, but is forum pe , I donāt think they will allowš
I am very very very cautious to get mythological references now⦠except for the one that already correlated and dissected.Originally posted by: SummerBorn
To be honest, i too never liked that track of Ramayana. No offence to anyone's religious sentiments but ya... a lot of things in Ramayana just does not sit well with me! DM me if you want ever want to discuss it.š
Anyways onto Ram and Priya... well their chara ters are flawed indeed.
There is a concept in literature... its called Hamartia... introduced by aristotle in "Poetics" and activelybused by famous writers of all times... including Shakespeare, Jane Auten... i mean basically every writer applies it to their protagonists especiallybwhen showing them as tragic hero/heroine, which is why Hamartia is also, in popular terms, called The Tragic Flaw... the one ingerent shortcoming or flaw in the character that leads them to face tragic events
In case of Ram... its his emotional baggage and need for acceptance by his step mom and siblings to the extent that he blindly belives whatever they tell him for the fear of loosing them
For Priya, its self abandon, as CDS mentioned
Unless and untill they resolve their hamartia, ghey cant really move forward
ramās flaw too is self abandonā¦
as far as Ramayan is concerned, I am a fanatic of it,the og Valmiki written oneā¦
I even compared some parallels, and how I wanted an actual mission luv kush, but modified vanvas where they should be together, not separate⦠but not what was delivered, no absolute reason can justify a lot of things that were presentedā¦
and definitely not a gold chain wala chidiya ghar hair cut wala ram⦠dekthe hi Ganga me dubaane ka khyaal aa gaye⦠and I canāt believe some people were drooling at him for being hotš¤£
you guys know how and why I hated and still hate it⦠šI canāt put why here for others for the reasons that I canāt use slurs on forum⦠š¤¬

Yeah the kids are cute 𤣠Golu wanted to call Sonakshi BigChi. I felt, Ishwari does have some shades of narcissm in places. Narcissism is anyways a spectrum. But yeah, we can't discuss it here, or they'll throw us out of Balh2 forum š
Did anybody watch today's Balh2 episode? I skipped it after seeing yesterday's precap š¤£

@bold - Exactly my thoughts š. I am still here for Ram - Pihu moments. Especially Ram getting to know Pihu is his daughter part of the scenes.
Me too. I like the innocence Ram and Pihu bring out, when they are not trying to establish forced similarities, or when Ram isn't being rude to Pihu.
Have they shown Ram has learnt Pihu is his daughter? Actually I skipped today's episode after seeing the precap.

I imagine a scene where they both breakdown and bare their souls, show the scars they inflicted on eo that day when they decided to prioritise others over their soul mate. Where they, for once acknowledge that both were wrong to put others ahead and they need eo more than anyone else...that their life is incomplete without the other! But what will trigger that? Has to be something really big...Pihu's life being endangered by Nandini is the only thing I can think of.
But I also want to see Priya's protectiveness towards Ram...the way she made Shivi realise her insensitivity towards Ram. I want her to take those post leap 'all is well' blinkers off, open her eyes and see the reality of Ram's existence. I want her to want to stay back to protect Ram and prioritise him for a change. I did not like the way she was going all hyper in front of Krish...with her 'please kuch karo' jaap. Made her look very silly and weak. Priya 1.0 would not act like this...she would take the bull by its horns!!
it sounded like bitchy𤣠I lolled my heart out⦠I was seeing it just a couple of days ago⦠and yes, narcissism is a spectrumā¦Originally posted by: tournesol

but apparently she has some guilt coz of her former employers acc to synopsis , that could result in self de-coring, that is what ever they do, in the stake of their loved ones, whether right or wrong, they should not be questioned, that is they did it with good intentions towards the loved one ⦠so no accountability what so ever kinda situation š
I am yet to get there, may be I can decipher better when I reach thereā¦

I won't give out any significant spoilers to you, but yeah, good luck decoding Ishwari. š If possible, we can discuss in a private forum (so that if more people are interested, they can join in), since Krp forum is already closed.

There is a very cute scene at the dining table between Ram and Pihu...watch that.. that is the only thing worth watching today. Nakuul and Aarohi are both really good and bring such warmth and genuineness to their scenes. The Priya Pihu scene is also good. rest is rubbish. And no..Ram still believes Pihu is Krish's daughter. I think the makers want to keep it that way and show that Ram will develop a real bond with Pihu and vice versa despite not knowing their true relationship. That actually makes it more meaningful.
Satya vachan, as Ritu saysāŗļø and pri is still 1.0, mellowed coz of motherhoodā¦Originally posted by: smriti81

try something against Pihu, she will, become that Mama Tigerā¦
she did protect ram(fish cake, remember?) and Ishaan in that early pregnancy mama bear response and took a hibernative protective step towards her own kid⦠she laid her life down there⦠to protect and safeguard her loved ones.
but the other side of it post pregnancy is mamatiger that can hunt down the threat to her cubā¦. She can take a hit, throw even more fiercer hit to keep them at bay.
