During all their JJ interviews, I could see why they were together but also why they broke up. A lot of uneasy tension. The interviews really showed us what kind of person Ranbir is, which is that he's a class A douchebag and Katrina dodged one helluva bullet. Makes me wonder how nice and respectful Vicky Kaushal must be.

Since Ranbir was being rude and nasty during Jagga Jasoos promotions, it makes me wonder about their break up. It's possible that Katrina broke up with him and he is trying to annoy her, belittle her OR he is bitter and upset that she took the break up so well.

She didn’t want it to end but it was inevitable (she alluded to it - they were planning for their wedding but it didn’t happen most likely because of his family’s disapproval and him not siding with her). She also alluded that she got blindsided so I assume that he just suddenly got cold feet and cancelled their wedding plan. His ego was hurt because she didn’t give him any attention and treated him coldly (understandingly so considering how fresh the break up was..

Wasn't the rumor that she came home from filming and found him moved out? If so, blindsided would definitely apply.

Yes, I also heard that he left in quite a brutal way. They definitely had lots of issues and broke up before (at the time of Bang Bang).

It also makes sense why ranbir is with aliaa…she’s so enamoured she probs dosent mind this mansplaining and condescending behaviour
