THIS!!!

I have stopped watching the show but watched the BTS and some clips of the Ram Priya Pihu scenes yesterday! You know despite all the dumbness of Ram and the initial post leap Casanova b***s they were showing, you could still understand where he is coming from. A girl like Priya claiming to have slept with another man, cheated on Ram and pregnant with that man's child...this was truly a very low blow even under N's threats.

I do not get post leap Priya at all. In fact I have started to dislike Priya. She is one delusional female! She claims to love Ram but she does not get the first thing about him. She has to be really blind and dumb to not see what her lies have done to him. All her floral speeches about how wonderful Ram is and moony eyed flashbacks are irritating to the core. For someone who understood Ram's loneliness and isolation around his step family when she married him, she is clueless about what he is going through. She just keeps doing her 'hamare jaane ke baad aap kush rahenge and vedika jaap' thoughtlessly. Not one reflection or inner dialogue on what she has deprived him of during these 5 years...not one ounce of guilt about keeping Ram and Pihu away from each other...not an iota of sensitivity towards the pain in his eyes. Does she really love him?? I truly feel NO...she just has a delusion of love for Ram. At least that is what comes through her portrayal. Yesterday's 'uncle' left me cold! Raya magic is ruined for me and in large part because of Priya. They have at least given Ram some monologues so we get he still loves her deeply and is trying to accept her daughter even if from another man. He will be ready to accept both of them back in his life if Priya shows some interest cause he seems in too deep even now.

They will never be able to create Raya magic again as far as I am concerned. From the vantage I see these two are so not meant for each other...they are so incompatible...e.g. Priya cannot even say sorry to him for fear of being taunted!! But this being Ekta's world one fine day all will be forgiven and forgotten in a few episodes at wrap up time. I truly swear off ITV shows now! This has been such a humongous disappointment!!

But ever since this perfect image came into plot. That side of him was shown completely gone. So we are left with Priya and repeating her lie and its consequence over and over again 🤣

I know and I remember cursing him. Its not like I have let him off the hook but somewhere you can see he was doing all of that to spite Priya. He was dating all those women and being nasty coz he somewhere hoped Priya would see him that way and get affected. I know when I say this people will say I am Ram supporter but I am not. But even when Shivi's death track was being aired I couldn't accept Priya lying to Ram. And now when she is seeing the two together and she imagined what Ram Pihu could have been had she not said that lie, there is no guilt from her side. She is acting like everything is back to normal and she may walk out of his life once the deal is done. But what about the fact that she is taking away his daughter from him? I know Ram needs to apologize to her for not giving her a chance to sort things out before Shivi died but after that, seeing the events that followed, I cannot fault him for reacting the way he did. Because if I lost someone I loved dearly the way Ram loved Shivi, I would have wanted that person punished at that moment. Because when rage takes over you, you cannot see beyond it. As a third person its easy to make rational comments but only the person who has suffered a loss will know the pain of it. Even though MS and Varun were punished, is it hard to overlook the fact that Priya's family was responsible for the death of a man who meant the world to him? Even if it was a decade ago? And then hid it? Its not like Ram did not want to sort things out. I remember when he was driving to Sood house minutes before Shivi's death, he was thinking ki maybe Priya is right and MM had a reason to give that statement. And then Shivi calling him and her death - is it so hard to accept that the man was in shock? Do you still expect him to trust his wife in these circumstances? Imagine if it were your brother and your sister died coz of his wife and he took her side. What would you think of him? Would you applaud him saying wah husband ho toh aisa or would you feel betrayed that your brother chose his wife who came into his life less than a year ago over his family? And when I say this I am giving a neutral example. Not even taking Nandu and Shubhu's names coz they are both invalid for me. If I look at it as a RaYa shipper I will want Ram to choose Priya but if I look at it from Ram's POV it is not easy. And it only gets worse after performing the final rites coz thats when it hits you that the person is no longer in your life. Was he expected to bail Priya out then with that feeling? And then I was kinda pissed he came to see her when he got her pregnancy news. But should I have expected him to go visit Priya immediately after Shivi's funeral and have a heart to heart talk? Sorry but thats not realistic. Not right then. He needed some time to cool down and come to terms with his loss. So we will never know if Ram would have visited Priya or not.

I still don't like the way he treated Priya in the mall. Cheater or not, she was no thief and no one knows this better than him. And behaving so badly with Pihu? No excuse at all. But even Priya is wrong here.

And I also want Pihu to love him before she gets to know he is her father.

Yeah I don't get how Priya is being defended coz of Nandu's blackmail. Teekh hai, as a mother her first instinct was to protect her child. But did she ever love him at all? Vedika being a gold digger left Ram for money. You will be sad but you will know there were materialistic reasons that were beyond you coz of which your girlfriend left you. Then you marry a woman of high morals. And you end up falling head over heels and I mean, cmon? Y won't you? When you find the perfect partner? But then she tells you she also cheated on you and worse got pregnant with another man's child. How is he expected to feel? Ram would have felt so low about his own self. She destroyed not only her self respect but also his self worth with that lie letting him think he is so unworthy that even a woman with strong ideals like her did not think he was good enough to stay faithful to him. And Priya was never this meek. She fought for herself and she blames MM for not being able to shield her? What did she do to her child? Should she be given a nobel prize for raising her in isolation, lying to her that she has no father and roaming the country calling it an adventure trip? I would say yes if Ram was even 1% like MS. But no. Ram would have loved Pihu more than anything. She not only snatched Ram's happiness but she deprived Pihu of her father's love. But no one will hold her accountable for this coz she was reduced to a bechari coz of Nandu's blackmailing.

RaYa is dead for me. The RaYa I saw pre leap before it became a crime patrol will be the RaYa i cherish having loved. These two? I donno who they are. They are just random characters being portrayed by Nakuul and Disha.

Totally echo your thoughts! People take off on Ram without really weighing the enormity of the losses he has suffered at the hands of Priya and family and brush it off so easily. Not that I liked his behaviour with Pihu …that was totally uncalled for & low. But other than the mall incident he has not said anything really abrasive to Priya as far as her cheating goes which is something I was afraid of. He did taunt her initially during the puja but nothing too toxic.

If someone points out saying Ram did not believe Priya etc etc - was it not the same Ram you saw before leap? He always had this flaw. He never saw through his family's manipulations before. He was always gullible. As a character, he is still the same fool. But Priya was a strong minded no nonsense person which is why I find it hard to accept this and considering the fact that I loved this show more coz of Priya - this is the first time you saw a heroine who was sensible and real. Not plastic. But what have they reduced her to I loved Ram for his goofiness. He was not this quintessential male lead who was being an MCP for the sake of it. It felt good to see a hero who wouldn't shy away from expressing his emotions coz it would hurt his macho image. Pata nahi what happened to my Ram and Priya 😭

I'm doubtful that will happen. Because then there will be no ❇Drama❇

Yes...his behaviour is still more consistent but Priya has been reduced to a toatally wishy-washy FL...oh how I miss the original Priya Sood! She was like a breath of fresh air...with her brashness and honest sharp tongue, her upright attitude and her principles. She was bitter but she was always her authentic no-nonsense self.
