Humsafar was a classic despite its cliched storyline and I won’t insult it by comparing it to this crapfest. Ashar was actually haalat ka maara bcoz his mother ensured Khizar was always around to build his suspicion. When he first caught Khirad with Khizar in a compromising state his reaction was human and his own mom whom he trusts a lot reinforcing that lie? He believed what he saw but despite that he wanted to hear her out once later on. But his mother never let him. When Khirad tried to call him his hatred shut her off from him. For me watching his breakdown was painful too. Of course my heart broke for Khirad but a little for Ashar too. Khirad had cut off her ties with Ashar but she was right when she reached out to him for Hareem’s treatment. Harem was born in this world coz of Ashar and the least he could do was give her the financial support to regain her health and live a healthy life. I love the way she bajaoed him later 😆 our shows are incapable of depicting such layered characters. So what will I hope from RaYa? 🥱

Seriously...and Ashar's mom had not done ANYTHING until that point for him to even have a slightest of doubt that she could be lying..and he was her REAL son..

Yes, my heart broke for Ashar too...he went through a nervous breakdown...and still later he wanted to be with Khirad (even before knowing the truth)

Also, not to mention, Khirad never hid anything from Hareem (I mean yeah she hid the negative stuff but not the fact that Ashar is her dad) so when Ashar and Hareem first met, Hareem was straightaway like "Aap wo photo wale papa ho na"...that was such heart melting ❤️

Yeah can't expect anything of that level from this "romantic comedy (more of a farce" show😵
