Lol people talking about Ms Marvel viewership when Marvel's most hyped project this year is underperforming with known names.

What's with MCU lately even Doc Strange:MOM got mixed reviews although i liked the movie.

They have been churning projects every few months with launch of Disney plus so the overall quality seems to have just dropped. Thor is getting trolled mainly for vfx from what I have seen.

Thor sucked coz the storyline sucked. They basically took a lesson from Ragnarok that humor works. But the problem is Ragnarok had a solid storyline backing the humor.

Love and Thunder is just humor without a convincing storyline. It feels like a parody sometimes. Zeus is reduced to a joke.

Bottomline is there seems to be focus on everything but the audience😆. In Ms Marvel they forgot (or didn't care) who actually watches superhero shows, and in Thor they forgot what that audience wants to see. So why would anyone fork out their cash?

I just feel in the US people aren’t that exposed or interested in brown culture unless it’s to appropriate desi traditions and practices aka yoga. Yeah you might have hits like Bridgerton and Never Have I Ever with glimpses of desiness but really the surrounding love interests or whatverr have to be palatable to their tastes.

In the UK that’s not entirely true as they are way more in tune with desis being a massive part of their society and their politics.

That being said, I like marvel action flicks as movies only because man oh man how many shows of superheroes can I watch with the same premise: deadly attack on world by different villains over many episodes. Two hours in a movie alright but an entire show on the same mundane threat across shows. Hard pass. I prefer zombies or true crime or other scifi/fantasy shows in this regard tbh.

I’ll check kamala out tho as I’ve heard good things!

So many projects has lessened it's novelty and charisma. Earlier people used to eagerly wait for everything MCU - including IVs, comic- cons etc. But now it has become stale. They need to stop making anything and everything for just money.

Watched Thor did not like it that much, as they took away his hammer that made him Thor, reduced him as a side kick in his own movie. Zeus who is supposed to way more stronger in mythology became a joke.

I know they want to include females in the superhero world but the way they are going is wrong way. Give them their own original origin story, with how they earned the superhero title with pain, loss and hard work, not by giving them everything in the plater without earning.

Ms Marvel made me have a newfound appreciation for this song.😆

I found it weird because Kamala is supposed to be born in 2008. She might still like SRK but DDLJ and Baazigar are way too old movies for her.

They gave Captain Marvel all that and it still got outrage from all the incel/ reactionaries out there and them targeting Brie Larson for months.
