Good to see him doing movies again but sad that he is playing second lead to other actors. In early 2000’s, he was giving super hit movies while Salman and Akshay were giving flops but now he is playing second lead negative roles where they are lead heroes. His films were hit or superhit only because of the skin show and s**/liplock scenes. Also, when he didn't do those things, his film didn't even work, despite his good performances.

Yup that could be a big reason. He confined himself to Bhatt camp but I always thought he wanted to do more roles in his comfort zone/safe haven. Anyway he has always been fairly popular and has done good work, has some amazing songs in his kitty. Not everybody has to be a Shahrukh/ Salman etc.

I thought he was fairly successful. Not every one can achieve the khans kind of success. I think he did well

He was just an average actor there is no fan following of his. Ppl used to visit his movies for sexy sultry actresses, sex scenes n lip lock n soulful songs. No one visited to see him especially.

Well he did pretty well for himself. He got many super hit songs.

His USP was kissing and doing adult scenes. It gets boring after a point.

More than him, wonder why Askhaye Khanna didn't do well.

From where I come from, he can be called fairly successful. I think his career started taking a backseat after Shanghai, most of the films after that ended up being flops. He can always make a comeback with a meaty role, though. He has super screen presence and nails those serious brooding roles with a poker face.

BECAUSE he worked with kangana and got incinerated by the Kurse...at the time she was not yet out in the open as being a succubus so she was able to disguise it and only the gifted recognized it and stayed the hell away from her...people like EH were oblivious and just innocently minding their business and doing their job and unfortunately got tainted...the guy had all kinds of sad and tragic things happen to him, not just as far as career but personal...just like the rest of those who work with her unprotected...that's it...simple. I wish him the best and hope he is at peace.

Well he had a nice run at the box office from 2004 to 2013 but after that it kinda flatlined lol

His USP was chuma chatti , which people got bored or having smartphone isn't novelty anymore.
