If Preeta is going to Karan and it's PreeRan journey then at least writers should give proper screen space to Manit and make Rishabh more relevant in the story.

It can’t be that deep and more due to unavailability of Rishabh’s face mask.

Here goes, Rishabh got a plain mask as Arjun can’t still bring himself to blame Rishabh fully as he wants revenge from Preeta only for betraying him and coming between the brothers.

He will become more protective and maybe slightly possessive about her as he will blame himself for not doing enough to protect her from Arjun.
