Imagine a real life scenario where Tejo never recovers, and is literally unwilling to let Fateh go out of her sight for even a minute. Not saying Gurpreet is right, but at a level (disclaimer that I watch UD on and off), her portrayal is very much like what an Indian saas would be! She's not cruel per se to her DIL, but the son's interests always comes first (unless he does something unpardonable like an EMA!)

This is where the contradiction is.

Fateh now is happy. Yes he's stressed and worried for Tejo, but if you've seen him post Tejo death, he was dead. Completely depressed. After so long he has felt actual happiness. And despite everything he will be happy with Tejo, even if she's to remain same. Now bringing your earlier point, yes generally people get exhausted. However there are rare people who love and cherish and make every sacrifice, fatejo are two such people. She forgot everything, including her name but remembered his. As Fateh said that Tejo is his world and he is tejo world.

And Gurpreet is ignoring that. She is completely blind that until now even during wedding rituals with Jasmine, the man was dead. Now he's happy. First time in 9-10 months.

Even during Ema she actually did not went against Fateh just Jasmine.

After the marriage she was actually jealous or angry about their happy relationship that he is paying her attention.

It's UD so what is a father supposed to do? Apart from Fateh who will be a very involved dad, I don't think anyone did anything in Sandhu or virk family. Men are barely involved.

So why does she need a dad. And what is this thing Baap Ka Naam Baap Ka Naam? Child isn't the result of her Shimla shenanigans. It's a virk. She's a widow.

That’s why I said he tried to reason with them gently today. He actually said put everything aside and look at Tejo and how she was the apple of everyone’s eye and you all know how much I loved Tejo. Gurpreet heard him making sense but she can’t see his happiness above Amriks baby.

@bold yes! She’s a widow and was married to Amrik, this wasn’t a love child outside of a marriage. Tejo being pregnant would have been a scandal as she wasn’t married and that required a rush wedding to save face….

Why do they want anymore babies when they can't take care of the ones they already have? 4 the, chaaron akhand chutiye.

Tejo was not your child yet she did in a year what all kids couldnt do combined for your stupid family.

I agree with you. But husbands love can just win over everything. I say it from real life example. Tejo is in a quit a controllable state and all you need is a care taker and Fateh can always have Tejo by your side.

I have one example in my family. Husband just never gave up in his wife though his in laws offered to marry their second daughter to him. Her cuteness just won ,though she was incapable DIL but a very much loved wife and mother. Fact is everybody had to accept her coz Mama was like she is and will be the only one. . She is my very own Mami. Never loved by Nani but adored Mama and her son. She was damn beautiful ,good singer and cute kiddo.( I don't blame Nani as my Mama is only son. So think your only DIL is a forever kid. ) Like Tejo she did had these tantrum phases where only a smart talk could calm her down just like those caretakers did at Ashram.Mami to was like Mama Mama but she calmed down later on. Such people are manageble . Treat them as kid and you get almost every thing done from them. That's where my Nani was very careful never to let her interact much with strangers and other ladies. Coz she could easily be used and manipulated.

Infact when Tejo mental case started i was reminded of my Mami.Beautiful, cute and loved by husband and son. That's what my Mami was, that's what Tejo looks like.

Girls like present mental Tejo exist very much in society. Few have good fate like my Mami while many well live with their parents even if they r married off.

If they show this trac mindfully then many can identify with it. Fateh just needs to be strong and stay by Tejo .Such men exist i proudly have them in my family .

Exactly my point. It's not as if it's an illegitimate child and baap ka naam is not known if of course there is even a baby in real.So this whole most crucial track is as it is based on such flimsy ground. They could have surely come up with something more plausible isn't it?
