New notion of culture

With the continuous Jaap of maryada, culture, and sanskriti in the serial, few points have crossed my mind.

Anu di delivers lecture on entering puja place in slippers but who will give her lecture on intruding other lady’s(Kavya) home, her personal place and ruining her life. Enjoying rights of wife with one man and enjoying, dancing with other man on the name of mother and daadi; seeing, meeting ex on one or other occasion, on daily basis comes under which culture? After all, they spent 25 yrs together, can anyone guarantee that this old love relationship may not rekindle.

Forgiveness is a great trait and key to peace, so for giving Vannu uncle makes sense but going to shah’s house or inviting him to her house on every occasion, offering water, and chai when his biwi and maa are there( behaving like his GF or wife), I don’t get this concept. Agar aise hi karna tha toh divorce lene ki kya need this, why did she make everybody's life so complicated.

If a man (i.e Anuj) does the same thing, meets or helps her ex for whatever reason, will any woman (i.e Anu) accept this or allow this?? What label that man will get from everyone?

Family ( apni family hoti toh phir bhi acceptable tha, ex-family of wife) is above one’s self-respect and dignity of his wife. AK doing Bharat milap with that person who tried to use his sister Mukku and insulted, abused Anu every other day even after the divorce. Anu always gives a befitting reply to a person (irrespective of age, status, or relation to that person) who insults her baa, baapuji but this man is touching the feet of Baa who insulted GK multiple times.😡😡

Insulting Anuj’s family ( which is now her family also) in front of all guests is the sanskaar of so called sanskari bahu? Now for which parivaar, should be she more responsible. If she does it for her MAA, we would have really appreciated her ( just not bcoz she is her maa, its bcoz, other than Bhavesh, no one is there to take care of her).

Before marriage, anuj to kanta ben: meri maa but now he is behaving like bakra baa baa baa. makers kya dikhana chahte hai, inhe khud hi nahi pata😀

Sam, I never connected with Anupama's so called love for Anuj. I am not taking anything into consideration from prequel. She loved Vanraj for 26 years and then she faces the biggest betrayal of her life. After that an old classmate comes to her life. Is it that easy to fall in love? The makers should have shown her inner conflicts, self denial so that viewers could form a connection. Why people felt Anupama's pain earlier and now they don't? Because nothing is making sense. Earlier her inner emotions and thoughts were fleshed out properly.

Same goes with Anuj's character. He was born just to marry her. You know my mom told that isse better hota Anupama akele rehti. She forgets everything even herself when the topic is Shah house. Anuj kya hai fir.

The show still has time to make a comeback. Just follow these points:

1. Show the healing of both Anuj and Anupamaa. They are traumatized

2. Show their professional growth and tone down those unnecessary nach baliye contests and gyaan ki Ganga bahana.

3. Don't show excessive romance.

4. Make Anupama realize that not caring is not equal to being disrespectful

5. For God sake stop this maayka jaap and for once let karma dev do some karma

6. Show the struggles of a married couple. That doesn’t mean misunderstanding. Show Anuj being vulnerable.

7. Last but not the least have some correlation with previous episodes. Anupama is a continuous series not a collection of standalone episodes.

Everyone in Shah house has problem with Kavya meeting Anirudh for business but nobody cares that Anupama seizes every chance to include her ex in every situation..

I think her bhashans are some sort of attempt to make Shahs look better or boost her own pride. Come to think of it she makes every single conversation into a social issue, even when she may not even practice what she preaches, more so these messages are to make the other party feel like they’re the worst person ever. I am not defending Barkha, but showing Anupama as this “perfect” person and Anuj as agreeing with Anupama 100% of the time is boring and unrealistic.

Even though I did not watch the house warming saga, I felt that it was blow out of proportion right from the get go.

Leela has insulted GK by equating him to a servant. Why didnt anyone make her apologize then?

I cannot forget Pakhi's "botox" comments to BB. How can any mom stand there listening to it and giggle? Not a single person admonishes her? Imagine how you would react if one of your kids talked like that to an adult!!

Notice how extreme each case is - blowing it out of proportion when there is nothing, but not flinch when they should have. I guess being normal is no longer in vogue these days! 🤔😕

It is beyond pathetic to see AK's char reduced to a nincompoop!!

Three positive things have happened in my life after watching Anupama.

I have become a rhyme expert.

I have got a chance to interact with all of you.🧡💛💚

Meri apne husband ke liye respect aur jaada bad gayi hai. 🤪 bahut jaada sensible lagne lage hai.

bus 80 lakh ka set nahi dila sakte, shayari nahi karte

toh shayari mai kar deti hoon unki jagah.😆

Yes I do understand ki khuch divorce ke hone ke baad bhi ex bahu apne sasural se relationship rakhti है except with divorcee husband but woh ex sasural bhi aisa hone chahhiye ki jo relationship rakhne mein deserve karte haii

I don't mind anupama consider baa as her mother even after divorce with vanraj agar baa anupama ko bahut ache se treat kar rahi hoti jaise anupama baa lo apni maa ki tarsh treat kar ti hsi waisi hi agar baa anupama ko dil se anupama ko beti ki tarsh treat ksrti to baa aur anupama ke beech bonding dejhne mein koi problem nahi hoti even after divorce

Like devika has divorce has husband but aaj bhi devika aur sister in law who is principal of pakhi school beech aaj bhi ache relationship kyonk. Devika ki ex sister in law ( devika divorce husband sister) meinachi friend ship to isluye devika और uski ex sister in law ka aapas baat karna mina kharaab nahi lagra

No, no don't take me wrong dear. I can't use this word for anybody.

But imagine yourself if a husband meets his ex like this always ( may be with good intention), will any wife accept this.

Secondly, in Kavya case, can a woman live happily when her hubby's ex is always in front of her eyes and all the members of her house chants always her name. which lady be happy seeing hubby dancing with ex, for whatever may be the reason. Aaj dadi bane ke liye naach rahi hai, kal samar ki sahhdi hone par..... is it really acceptable

She can meet outside baa, baapuji and kids also. whenever V calls her, she runs to meet him. whats the need, should not she ignore him.

Itna hi Baa ko samman dena tah toh divorce his nahi leti, ya phir unke mana karne bhi , Mumbai nahi jaati, anuj ka office join nahi karti......list is long.
