This is India-forums but we all know that Bollywood has no borders. The viewers who post here are from all across the globe.

Those who don’t watch Hollywood and might be proud of Indian cinema/Bollywood and its outreach across the globe, do you ever take offense when some of us complain about the quality of Bollywood movies or pit the Bollywoodized remakes against their Hollywood originals? Or are you fully on board with the fact that Bollywood has gone down the drain by a lot and see no harm in people complaining about the same?

god knows why im thinking about this but since I am, I might as well ask …. To whomsoever it may concern.

To be honest and fair, Aamir Khan has surpassed everyone's expectations in just the trailer of LSC. We expected poor acting from him, but he has outdone himself and acted even worse. His role is LSC is going to be a cult in the genre of cringey unintentional comedy.

Everyone is going to remember this iconic turd churned out by him fifty years from now, instead of Tom Hanks and Forrest Gump.

Thanks Aamir Khan for reviving Bollywood and making it global.

Do yourself a favor and don't watch the trailer. A remake that bad should be criminally triable.

This is the kind of review that's tempting me to watch the trailer despite not wanting to. 🤣

I think the whole bollywood has shifted to the "so bad, it's good" genre. 😆 so, yes, i don't mind whatever love it's getting presently. 😆

At Cannes, Deepika said that she thinks Bollywood films are just as good as the competitive selection. And I am just trying to figure out where are these films?

Shakun directly copy-pasted Matchpoint, and somehow still screwed it up. And you just know, in their own bubble Deepika and Shakun are definitely convinced that they made some sort of modern classic too ahead of its time for the audience.

Drive My Car (last year's Cannes breakout) is an obvious fit for someone like SRK. Instead you have him play-pretending to be Hrithik in Pathaan and Aamir in Dunki.
