Ranbir really was in the zone in the film. Never understood why he didn't take more of these anti-hero roles with a mild tempered personality. There's something naturally disturbing about him and it translates well.

20 years of career and this remains the highlight of Katrina's career, which is really sad.

Prakash Jha really couldn't make a single decent film after this though, could he?

Hats off to Prakash Jha for making such a well made movie. All the characters are well written. Each of them has an arc. None of them are saints. The whole movie is like a chess match between Ranbir and Ajay Devgn with everyone around them being pawns -sometimes even the candidates themselves. And the movie gave a proper ending with Ranbir sentencing himself to exile -another nod to Mahabharata.Pity the deleted scenes from the DVD never made it to Youtube.

Unless there's a famous banner or a sure-hit maker like Hirani, Ranbir won't be seen playing such a questionable character any time soon.

Arjun Rampal was outstanding in this film, He totally stole the Show

I only loved Arjun and Kat's characters in the movie, but it was one great movie, ngl!

I watched this only a couple months back for the first time. Ranbir's transformation reminded me a lot of Al Pacino as Michael Corleone in Godfather ... not saying that Ranbir is anywhere near as talented as him but the character reminded me of him.

He walked home with all the praises and accolades and that's fine cuz he was a nepokid and of course the movers and shakers of the biz will take an inch and paint into an Oscar worthy performance but I thought Arjun went underrated cuz he was amazing too, and hotttter!! any day, night, time, land, water, or mile high. 😉

Katrina's speech in that broken Hindi was also propped up to ungodly heights from what I remember ... but it only made me laugh.
