About yards and crease( popping, batting, bowling and return crease) Suyash will explain.

And even I want to gain some knowledge on some topics of cricket from you and others. Commentators keeps mentioning about carrom ball by R. Ashwin and I never understood what is that

Have you played Carrom Board game? 😆 It's the most famous indoor game for kids in India and Indian subcontinent. If yes then you would know that we flick the striker with our index finger. The carrom ball is similar. The bowler flicks the ball with his index finger rather than releasing the conventional way. That way the ball wobbles in the air because its flicked and has less power and also turns in opposite direction because of that.

Suyash give us cricket lessons

Churchgate? Wo to Mumbai ka Station hai. Don't think its cricket related.

Umpires call is what we call as margin of error in Technology. That means the technology is not totally fool proof. Since drs involves prediction (what would have happened) there is a benefit of error given to technology. In that case what umpires decides stays the decision.

These aren't important for basic users. 😆 You just need to know that there is a line and you have to have something (which includes your body and the bat as an extension) behind that line. If you leave that line the opponent team can break the stumps with the ball and you will be out.

@bold : most important part, the fielding team is allowed to break the stumps only with the ball .
