Kolkata killed KK, says Om Puri's ex-wife Nandita

Singing stalwart KK breathed his last on May 31 in Kolkata. He had two consecutive performances in the city. KK got unwell after he returned to his hotel post the concert. He was soon rushed to the hospital where he was declared 'brought dead', as per an India Today TV report. Om Puri's ex-wife, Nandita Puri has questioned the conditions for live performances in Kolkata.

While KK's mortal remains were kept at Kolkata's Rabindra Sadan, West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee arrived to pay her last respects. He was honoured with a gun salute. Now, late Om Puri's ex-wife, Nandita Puri has questioned the city's facilities for hosting live performances in Kolkata. On Facebook, she wrote, "Shame on West Bengal. Kolkata killed KK and the govt. is covering up with a state farewell for their faulty Nazrul Manch; with a crowd of 7k for a 2.5k capacity, failed air conditioning; the singer perspiring profusely complained 4 times to no avail. No paramedics. No first aid. Crucial moments lost. A CBI enquiry is a must and Bollywood should boycott performing in Bengal till then (sic)."

There are some valid points raised though. Concerts in colleges are usually held in open spaces. And, if it is held in an enclosed space all the fire marshall rules and regulations should be followed. And are we past the pandemic phase now?

Media needs something to chew on but innocent lives are lost and families lose their loved ones.

बघत नाही, पण scores update वाचते.

मी या वर्षी IPL देखील एकही MATCH नाही पाहिली. पण SCORES मात्र सतत updates वाचत होते.

अशोक सराफ यांचा 75 व वाढदिवस आहे 4 june ला.

त्या निमित्ताने शिवाजी मंदिर ला त्यांच्या नाटकाचा प्रयोग free of cost आहे.

काल ते 'हवा येऊ द्या' मध्ये आले होते त्यांच्या leading ladies बरोबर आणि आज परत ते kitchen कलाकार मध्ये पण आलेत.
