Saif Ali Khan was offered the role of Aishwarya Rai's ex-husband played by Shah Rukh Khan. No idea why he refused, it was just one scene, a day's work, and he could have been one step closer to completing his bucket list. Also, I did find it quite strange that Karan thought of Saif first, then SRK (although that may not necessarily be the case).

I had felt that Kareena is the reason Saif never worked with Aishwarya and Priyanka [🤪] but I don't have any evidence to back this up.

But if that was the case, then I'm sure things have changed now, and Bebs wouldn't mind.

When Tanhaji was announced in 2019, the cast list included Aishwarya's name alongside Saif, Kajol, Ajay's. Here's one I found as such:

SRK's role. They reshot it cos Karan changed the scene and Saif was not available.

it's great to see them all together. I think they are not competing against each other anymore. They married, had kids and aren't in the race anymore. Whatever words that were said between them all have been put in the past or just forgotten for this one night.

This reminds me of that Roundtable conversation Rani had with Tabu, Deepika, Anushka, Alia, and Taapsee. Only Tabu had seniority over Rani but she was very quiet overall so Rani basically took over as the maalkin of the group, constantly speaking over everyone and interjecting with her opinions. This video was of course where Rani infamously said that for #MeToo, all young girls should be trained in self-defense. I don't think there is anything wrong with what she said since it was a valid point, even if social media hated her for it, but it was the way she presented her opinion that rubbed people the wrong way. Making karate chop noises while others were speaking made it come across as a farce and took away any of her credibility. Most of the YouTube comments were quite hilarious about Rani and how she needs to speak less (ironic since she once claimed that about Preity on KFK when she was paired with Kareena).

Aish and her fans was mad at Rani for replacing her and I used to be a huge fan of Aish but glad Rani replaced her in the movie because Rani knows how to act. I am a fan of all these ladies. Aish, preity best friends have no problems with madhuri. So it seems like preity and Aish had problems with Kareena and Rani so rare picture of them together.
