You were not believing, right? It's like StarPlus is taking tests of its shows and to be fair, everyone is being given the same question paper (pregnancy track), taaki noone will complain. And, when the results (TRP ratings) are out, they can decide who all to be given a free pass.

Isme Anupama bhi hai. That's what's confusing me. 🤔 And it can't be just coincidental, as humara regional Anupama mein bhi pregnancy track shuru ho raha hai - her younger daughter in law is pregnant. 🤦🏻‍♀️

It’s great to read the comments on this thread! All valid points as this show appeals to everyone at a different level.

As a non Indian I watch foreign shows for entertainment as I’m a die hard romantic at heart and treasure my Austen & Brontë books and love shows like Bridgerton and Outkander. Fiction but it delivers that need I have for life on a larger scale but with strong women characters who can partner with equally strong men!! 50/50 at its best!

Imlie got my attention as she’s got dreams and goals like most of us at that tender age. And, like most girls at that age, the people who come into your life either helps or hinders your progress. For me she needs that tough love that Aryan brought into her life. Can’t get more real than that!! His advises to Imlie were dead on!! We’ll soon see if the creatives will stay true to the core of the characters or will show their limitations as writers. Would love to see ASR use that logic he’s been shown to have and support Imlie in getting back on track with her work. An assignment on infertility would go a long way in bring her back to having a goal whilst dealing with her supposed condition.

I cannot relate to living in a joint family or having family interference at this level so I can’t suggest anything other than when you get married you need to live on your own and work on yourselves to form a solid relationship. But I’m interested to see how ASR handles his mother whilst respecting both mother & wife!

Sumbal is doing an incredible job as an actress despite her young age and Fahmaan owns his role as ASR. Can’t believe she just 20 & him 31!!

So for me, yes there is much room for development but as long as I can enjoy the characters then I’m in, if not it’s easy to unsubscribe to Hotstar!

hi again, Maya! i absolutely love Austen (Persuasion being my favourite), and Bridgerton too. i wonder if you watch Sanditon too. i absolutely love discovering parallels between arylie and kanthony. you’d be pleasantly surprised by just how many there are. 🙂

I do and yes there are many similarities in the characters. I noted this when I first started browsing thru the Imlie episodes!

Outlander first 5 seasons are on Netflix and it’s also a very good watch! Characters a’ lot more mature but the passion is smouldering!
