They need to take it slow, there are many discussions that are pending, her inhibitions, her fear of intimacy, his/her expectations. Neither are new to this nd yes love is there but permission and CONSENT is most imp and it should be shown that even in a marriage consent is most important, whether it is today tomorrow or anytime done the road.
Just hand holding hugs, kisses sleeping getting comfortable is more important than doing the deed on the 1st night coz it's tradition.
As we saw in the past, hug and kiss took so long, am sure RS will take his time showing this as well. Let's see
Considering Anuj and how much importance he gives for CONSENT, I don't think they will rush for SR... Definitely they will take their own sweet time to come out of maryaada
