If you do understand bengali, I would recommend you to watch the OG one. The initial episodes are same. But atleast in that one the FIL had some guts and Samar's character also was fire, he never took his mom's insult quietly. Though here also he speaks but most of the times I have seen him as a mute spectator.

The episodes after marriage are really good. The way Anuj's character schools every one of that toxic family is a delight for my eyes. Especially that rude Pakhi.

There is a ray of hope that this show is on the road to recovery after marriage. Only of this marriage finishes soon.... sigh!!
