If you do understand bengali, I would recommend you to watch the OG one. The initial episodes are same. But atleast in that one the FIL had some guts and Samar's character also was fire, he never took his mom's insult quietly. Though here also he speaks but most of the times I have seen him as a mute spectator.

The episodes after marriage are really good. The way Anuj's character schools every one of that toxic family is a delight for my eyes. Especially that rude Pakhi.

Difficuly yar Ekta!! They are trying to make both the leads as Devi and Devta which is ridiculous. And I really really wish Anuj to realize that doing "YES MA'AM" is not love. May be some people won't like me saying this but I really wish Anuj to ask her what her priorities are? Does he have any importance for her infront of that Shah House members? Is his place atleast equal with respect to them, if not more (which will never happen)? I mean Toshu not sleeping by 11 and the next day she would reach SH to scold him. If Bapuji just sneezes, would she run coming to see him?

I mean she needs to draw a boundary. Even if she does not, atleast show Anuj sulking 🤣He would get screentime and I can nirahofy him.
