Why is akshara sad about music therapy department?

Why is akshara sad about a department that is gifted to her by her husband. Yes,I agree she might be deserving but there are a lot of people who are deserving and hard working and they don't get all that opportunity and have to prove themselves on their own to reach a level of success. Music therapy is a new concept , why is akshara so upset if department is taken away from her? Why can't she bring a new change through music therapy through her own efforts. It's a clear case of nepotism. I am not saying Akshara's music therapy is not helping people but i feel she should be shown to be achieving that on her just like abhimanyu birla did .

I think it's a good track where akshara will achieve things on her own.

Akshara is not sad about the closing of department..she never asked for it in the first place ..it was a gift by her fiance and that's what's bothering her..a gift is very dear to your heart specially if its from your husband ..she was remembering abhimanyu's happy face and how lovingly and proudly he gifted her that department so its her feelings that are attached to that department..

Plus Akshara is more worried about abhimanyu's reaction..he's too excited about her career and akshara doesn't want his happiness to turn into sadness upon knowing the truth..she doesn't want abhimanyu to get disappointed..

Rest ..she will definitely prove herself even if the department gets taken away and build her career on her own capabilities and achievements and that's what this track is all about..its akshu's career track which will continue for long and will show her struggles to make her own place as a therapist..

Akshu isn't someone who cares about titles or accolades. As she was walking down the stairs after hearing about the elders' decision to shut down the department, all her flashbacks were about her patients and how happy Abhi was in gifting it to her. For her, the department represents her passions -- music, which is her first love and what gave her a voice when she had none, and helping people -- the very essence of who she is. It also represents Abhi's love and support for her and her career.

Also, at the end of the episode, all she was worried about is why the elders aren't telling Abhi. Again, it wasn't about the department -- it was about how Abhi would be hurt to find out about this decision. She knows that he is even more excited than she is about this department, and she cannot see him in pain. She always puts the ones she loves before her own happiness.

As for nepotism -- just because it was gifted to her does not mean that she doesn't deserve it. I think that this world runs on connections, but it is what you do after you have gotten that opportunity that matters. It is clear that her therapy is great for the hospital and relieving so many people of their pain/speeding up their healing process. So, I don't really see anything wrong in that.

I personally believe akshara getting music department is classic case of nepotism. Since the time she joined birla hospital as music therapist, once she left her job as bade papa asked her to do so.Is it called professionalism. I don't think so.After that we just witnessed her singing in corridors to help abhi to do operation of mnjhari and manish.once she sung while she herself was getting panic attack.And later she took leave from past so many days

How can one get whole department on someone bane when one hardly work to get that particular designation.

Here I completely agree with birla as they have to look at hospital progress.they are just shutting down the department. Akshara can resume her job without any department too.As she have to sing emotional songs in corridor of hospital.

PS_ I m not making fun of therapists but it's yrkkh team which just insult the music therapist profession

I would be really glad if the music therapy department shuts down. The reason is this serial has made a mockery of music therapy. There's practically no difference between Akshara's so called music therapy and YouTube and Spotify playlist. In the name of music therapy they showed her singing sad songs based on her mood in front of operation theater and distracting the doctors.

I am not saying she doesn't deserve it but it was too early for her to get a separate music therapy department as a gift by her fiancee. Abhi gifted her the department more for personal reasons than professional. Also, I hated the way everyone conveniently forgot the word 'therapy' in today's episode and reduced it to a music department when all Akshara has to do is sing and entertain people. They made it look like Akshara is a singer employed by Birla hospital and not music therapist. Though Harsh was way too rude but somewhere his annoyance was justified when the Goenkas were saying, we'll come to your 'music department' and listen to your songs. 🙃 I was like, for God sake she's a music therapist treating patients with her music not some singer singing in shows. 😂 That's what Akshara has been reduced to in this show. 😐

I think she should quit her job but not her ambition and career. She should work somewhere else as a music therapist and gain more fame and success so that these senior Birlas will wonder if they made mistakes by throwing her out of the hospital.

Yes makers did mockery of music therapy. They didn't do proper study about it.

Music therapy is not only singing but include instrument, writing poem and many more.

But also fact you can't use random song from youtube for patients. Their are music samples depends on patients. Some music also increases anxiety and heart beats.

Hope new writiers do justice to music therapy or atleast change ak profession.
