Why is this the toughest poll ever?

All are good movies. I will go with Dil chahta hai as i think this is the first movie which made way all friendship movies (my opinion)

Sholay, Satte pe Satta, Chalti ka Naam Gaadi, Anand... to name a few.

My pick would be Sholay.

It was a remake of Malayalam movie called Perumazhakkalam. Do the women form a friendship in the Hindi version? I don't remember that in Malayalam version, but it's been a while since I last saw it.

For me it's Sholay

ShoLay is the first movie that came to my mind looking at the question, none of these movies even come close.
