I see nothing good in Varun, so to believe that he genuinely loves Eshan is difficult, I think he has his own agenda to serve and he does not hesitate to use or manipulate the son he supposedly loves for his own purpose. Even today him bringing food was to show down Sara, to make her realize that see you offered but Eshan refused your offer but right away I am giving him food and he is happily eating it.

Priya said they Varun & Ishaan stayed in Mumbai before Varun had to go to Delhi to take care of his mother. Priya also said that Varun stayed at home to take care of Ishaan, and Sara has to sometimes do multiple jobs to manage the family finances. We don’t know how the arrangement came inti effect, but I think Varun decided that he had done his bit by marrying Sara and that pushed the family responsibility on Sara’s shoulder. Maybe Meera took care of the boy when he was younger, but he might not have seen his mother much growing up as she was always working, that would have made him lean towards the stay at home dad. Maybe Varun told him he had to sacrifice his career to raise him as Sara doesn’t want to stay at home.

Ofcourse we all know both parents working is very common these days, but we don’t know how Varun twisted it.
