FF:Dil ne tumko chun liya hai prt 5 pg 5

Hi guys…This is my first attempt of writing an ff, so please excuse any mistakes. I'm open to all views, especially critics on how to make this ff more interesting.

A big thanks to Sanober for the college idea and all the encouragement…thanx to the rest of my IF friends…couldn't have done without u guys.

I know I said the 1^st part will come next week but I decided to try a little preview to see what u guys think.

FF- Dil ne tumko chun liya hai

Character Synopsis

Aastha Joshi –is similar to Aastha in the serial. She comes from a middle class family. She has to take care of her family because her good for nothing brother, Vinay, ran away to USA. She will do anything for her family. Very sweet person but will always stand up for what she believes in. Aastha is studying in college in 1^st year.

Shubh Ranawat -comes from a wealthy family. The Ranawat's have a big hotel business. He is the youngest of the Ranawat family & a very spoilt guy. He is very arrogant & thinks only of himself all the time. Shubh goes to college and is a senior. He is a playboy & all the girls are always after him.

Ranawat Parivaar

Dhanraj Ranawat-head of the Ranawat family, owns a hotel business in Mumbai

Solochana Ranawat-wife of Dhanraj & mother of all the kids

thanx, glad u liked the concept... but i will only continue if i get more response because i am trying to get more members to stay in the forum& also new members to join this forum with my ff & this way i hope it will keep the forum more active.

Anyway here is the next part. Enjoy reading!!!!!

Part 1

It's the first day of college for Aastha and she is very excited but a little nervous. She prays to Ganpati to support her through this new phase of life. Her parents are so proud of her, as Aastha is the first in her family to attend college.

Dhruv, Aastha 's childhood friend who is also middle class, is also going to college with her. Dhruv comes to her shouting, "Aastha are you ready yet? Come on we will be late." Aastha says," Dhruv, I'm not really sure if I want to go. How will I manage to pay the tuition fees? Who will look after mom, dad, Shilpa & Chaaya? Dhruv says stop looking so down & be happy that you were accepted in a big college, don't worry about fees, we'll manage to pay somehow and I will pay for you if I have to sell my clothes."

Dhruv & Aastha go for their first lecture which is economics. Aastha tells Dhruv, this place is so big with so many people, have you seen the way people dress & the cars they drive? Maybe we should have gone to a different college, something for our class." Dhruv getting angry, "we have the same right to be here as all these other high class people."

Suddenly someone comes from behind and says "You are right! Everybody has the right to be here no matter what your class." "Who are you?" asks Aastha. I think we went to economics together, I'm Deepa says the girl. "Hi Deepa, I'm Aastha and this is Dhruv, who I think has a strong opinion like you, "states Aastha.

Time passes and the three become really good friends. They attend the same classes and study together. They do everything together. One day, after class, the three of them are in the canteen together having lunch. Suddenly, somebody makes rude comments about Aastha's salwar & how middle class she looks & that they are eating from a tiffin.

How will this change Aastha's life?
What role will they play in Aastha's life?
