Wrt Yrkkh, I won't say that he hasn't paid attention. He hired Saba, after her exit Dheeraj Sarna gave his input. As of now 3 writers from S2 and 1 are working along with Utkarsh.

He has maintained the legacy of grand weddings in Yrkkh. The other two betiyaan are sidelined to a certain extent.

I did have a different opinion about his lethargic attitude towards Yrkkh but no, he hasn't left the show in a lurch.

He has to take care of the sub tracks and his leads character progression. Once that is in place looks won't matter.

Harshad is apt got the role. Even though I don't like cringy baby talks and overconcern for akshara in harshad's voice- i think he is apt for the doctor role and would have better chemistry with someone in 30's. Pranali is good as akshara but she should have been casted with someone younger like Mohsin Khan to make the pair work. They are good in respective roles but not good as couple.

Also, i feel pranali rathod is extremely average looking. You can find 100's of such cute girls . She has a typical cute girl look. That charm of akshara played by Hina Khan and naira played by shivangi Joshi is not there.

This is why we never see the couple full screen - when they do that, Pranali is like a child next to Harshad. He is also not the tallest actor as per his contemporaries so in that respect in close ups they look ok.

Her petite size is unfortunate. Their initial chemistry was good but nowadays both look tired and seem to acting by rote.

Casting has been done as per story and the character, whether we like it or not.

Talent should be number 1, not looks. Given the character of Abhi, he needed someone who embodies home and family (as per his mother), not the runaway, so in that context their casting makes sense.

Their acting by rote is a cause of concern...

Haven't we had this discussion several times now about this age difference?

The only reason I think its getting more noticeable is becauae of poor script writing. The wrtiters have recently really "dumb" down Akshara's character in the name of uplifting a third angle track.

In the beginning the writing was a tad better and Akshara at least had something in her. I can only hope once she is actually married and gets in the Birla house and we don't have to deal with her sister as much we have been we will start seeing some maturity coming back.

I think Pranali is fine and doing the best she can with what has been given to her. I would say the same for Harshad. He hasn't been 100% either in this show. There have been some episodes that there was much over acting.

Much of what we are dissatisfied with has to do with writing, directing, and editing. Some of the editing choices have been questionable recently and also how the director shoots emotional trip and falls (recent example when Abhi went to the morgue to identify a body that could potentially be his mother. The twirling fall into Akshara’s arms was bad I don't know if they purposefully slow mode Harshad falling or the director asked him to slow mode his moves 🤔 😆)

I 💯 agree that the age difference is much more evident now. First 100 episodes HC look was ver different. He was looking very young with short hairstyle but now after temple fiasco, his hairs are like tokri on head which makes his head look so big hence more age amd most of the time his upper head is chopped off in scenes with pranali that shows the age difference much more in certain scenes

I have been complaining this since last 4 months that he has changed his hairstyle.. even he was more chubby in the starting episodes still he pulled off young look with short hairs but now my rant has no end…

AK is too childish in certain scenes and I also don’t like their baby talks.. writers should pay attention and especially director…

I notice the Udaipur trip director was different and now it is different director. Udaipur trip was very well directed. … now still 50% episode is still showing single head zoomed sidelining other characters in the screen.. then why the ey pay the actor when they are cutting them

I actually do not mind their coupling, its the baby voice and crying like a toddler that gets me.

Harshad is a great and accomplished actor, he is great for the role.

Pranali isn't new, but she is young and it works for her current character. I also believe she is a great actress as well and has the potential to be as accomplished as Harshad, but for that, only time will tell.

I hope her current baby voice and excessive crying goes away post marriage track and add some depth to her character and voice.

Even the youthfulness she has right now does not bother me as that's how Akshara is supposed to be, but its less of a bubbly girl and more of a emotional toddler and Abhimanyu is babying her. Abhimanyu's depth and seriousness in the beginning of the show's introduction to the 3rd generation was liked and now as he coddles Akshara it is gone. I hope their is some maturity post-marriage track from both characters.

HI I'm silent reader of this forum... I read all post.. I noticed one thing from u.. Whenever Arohi is at fault in episode u come up with this type of age difference post... If Abhira do anything wrong u make a long long post to bash them...

Absolutely right!! I am also a silent reader of the forum but it's really difficult not to see the pattern of OP's posts since February.

Maybe he/she/they enjoy the fighting it ensues cuz it being activity in the forum or maybe everyone enjoys repeating their views 1000 times but the same 4 topics (age gap, no chemistry, no vibes, no story) get very boring for us silent readers.

By now I can already predict what every users take on this topic would be. Kindly have some mercy on us and come with some fresh topics discussing other characters.

But if increasing forum activity is not OP's goal, might I suggest he/she/they move on from something they find lacks story+depth+vibes+chemistry+appropriate casting to something better. I know OTT platforms come up great products which is supposedly lacking in YRKKH gen 3.
