What they could have done instead

I have been a little away from the Forum this week due to family wedding functions but now that I am back and have watched the last few episodes of our beloved show TamarinDuh, I could not stop myself from ranting a little bit.

First things first, I know that MV had to leave the show so the makers had to wrap up the whole revenge plot but the way they did it could not have been any more disappointing. How come Imlie found out the Truth in two days but Mr Aryan Singh Rathore who is calculative and analytical to the bone, did not find anything all these years? I know you writers had to make Imlie the hero again but come on!!! Why do it at the stake of our Aru's big brain. Moving forward, I hated that Aru apologized to Patrakaar ji because it doesn't matter if stupid Purandas planned Arvind's death, Mr Patrakaar was still indirectly responsible because he wrote his stories based on fake, made up proofs instead of cross verifying and making sure all the info he had was correct.

He did not do his job as a journalist correctly which gave purandas the opportunity to plant his men between actual enraged workers and get them to light Arvind's car on fire. Aryan should not have apologized at all. He should have said instead, "I am letting go of my revenge plot against you as you were not directly responsible for my Jiju's death, but if I were in your position, I would have quit journalism and returned all my awards because indirectly my irresponsible and arrogant reportage did lead to the death of an innocent man."

Now, coming to the present track, I know since MV left in a hurry, makers had to wrap up a plot haphazardly and they did not plan on a future track. But rather than shoving filler episode with BM BD kitchen politics or #Surpita wedding, they could have done something thousand times better which would have given us glorious Arylie.

Let me explain. We all know that aside from anger, Aru also has some sort of survivor's guilt trauma due to his jiju's death because it was supposed to be him going to the factory that day. With revenge now taken care of, makers could have focused more on this trauma of Aryan's. With Adi leaving, Imlie, Narmu and Arpi all sort of believe that things would finally go back to normal and their ASR would become Aru again. But... What if the exact opposite happened?

Till date, Imlie has not seen the barely two words bolne waala Aryan as with her, he has always been very talkative due to their stupid arguments, his mentoring, his lectures etc. She has not seen the quiet and sombre Aryan that Arpi and Narmu has seen. What if the makers showed that now that Aryan does not have an outlet through revenge, his survivor's guilt has intensified and he has retreated back into a shell where he does not talk much or at all.

They could have shown us scenes like Aru enters Arpi and jiju's room once more but this time he is overcome by that guilt and he has a panic attack and faints and this is the first time, Imlie sees him that way. Arpi and Narmu tell her that it happened a few time right after Arvind passed away but suddenly one day it was like he turned off his emotions and became a emotionless, cold ASR. Maybe then we could have gotten some emotional, angsty scene where Imlie tries to bring Aru back. During this process, she realises how much he means to her. His voice, his words, his touch, his presence in her life, their nok jhoks all of it. Makers could have given us organic Arylie romance with care, laugh, love ka tadka.

What do you guys think??

Girl u said what we all r trying to say but unfortunately Makers r hell-bent to ruin first during the wedding track then revenge track messed up

About revenge track fully agree ARU has nothing with sorry its AKT's fault somewhere but AKT like doing grt cause by saying public apology mile jaye wowww

to make mahan IMLIE they start butchering from revenge track which will increase with this surpita wedding track

what u said will be any logical thinking from the writer but here toh sab kuch mahan hote hain karne ke liye

writing going down don't know about the future of the show

I agree with you on all points they had so much potential they could have shown his aghast his heartbreak his emotions and Imile could have seen his his real pain instead they made him apologize to that can loser .As a journalist he is supposed to double and triple check his information .I hated how they handle it,and now Arpitha and Sundar they cute couple but they need to show their friendship and build from there.Imile has to be honest about BD and BK but she knows if she does it she will have to tell Aryan that she was going to swap herself out and this time Aryan will really let her go.

Concept, logic, character arc, reality everything is compromised here and there according to the convince of plot by makers šŸ˜...

its better to keep our expectations low so that we can find peace after watching every episodesšŸ‘
