Genelia did really well for herself in the South. She has won state awards for her acting .

Even today Genelia is loved a lot and remembered for her movies . She is in no way a “flop” actress coz she definitely has made a mark in the south especially for her acting chops .

So basically Sonakashi's only choice if she wants to join this illustrious list is: Arjun Kapoor. 😭

But these actresses are not dumb enough to marry a less successful actor out of pure love only.

Either they know that their boyfriend is talented , has made a mark with his acting prowess + successful films and will do well in long term like - Katrina and DP

Or their boyfriends along with talent have a great family lineage + solid surname adding to it a secured financial income so their future will be set like - Abhishek , Saif , Naga Chaitanya, Ranbir etc

He comes from old money,is successful and is very talented

More than a star he is a much respected Actor and say whatever you want but marriage certainly elevates a woman status in the Society

Bollywood pretends to be all woke and shit but we all know how things are thats why all the heroines eventually want to marry well and be settled

and I am sure these post 2000s actresses are not dumb, they all gonna have successfull marriages

Akshay-Twinkle seem to be an exception to the rule but Akshay was not a big star when he married Twinkle.

I don’t think Jaya is a bigger star than Amitabh or ever was.

Also, Ranbir has better acting skills than Alia, every actor has a upward slope and downward slope. It’s just about timing.

Half of them, except (vicki, amitabh, ranveer,karan, ajay) have a lot of ancestral and family wealth and their surname has some sort of clout in industry , politics etc. Perhaps this offers women a “security” to either keep working in the industry Without being disrespected or harassed, or allows them to stop work altogether and pursue other passions witho worrying abt paying the bills

Ranbir and Alia are almost equal. Yes she gave recent hit movie but he is also a fine actor.

Anyways if these guys were happy to marry successful ladies then unki marzi. The best thing is that all of them are still together.
