Meet| EDT #21 - Page 98

I don’t know why I watched and it messed me up big time ☹️

Am I the only one who doesn't care..

I am more impressed with his acting skills that he managed to convince us that he is a shy , coy seedha sadha ladka... inspite of this perception/image of him that he created.

Let us say he was/is that person.. but we do see a restrained Shagun these days, he seems very private now, very very guarded and I feel he is trying to wipe that image off our minds.. He knows if these continue to circulate the hero image wont work..

I am more curious ki ek 20 year old ke deemag mein kya chal raha hoga to say or behave like this...I would question the value system he carried but does that change who Meetwa is...

Meetwa was never Shagun... Shangun is Meetwa .. there will be some part of him in the character that we liked... we will continue to like... We dont have to like all of it...

I didn't even know who he was.. I looked him up after the hospital scene thinking ladka bhi bura nahi hai... after Meetwa I don't think I will follow his career.

The most important thing is , is he doing justice to his role... He is.. Bas Phir.

actually what you said kinda make sense … and @bold that’s what I am going to do too.. i.e. stop following him or looking him up on SM… infact I won’t be updating anything from now onwards because for links I have to look up SM (twitter tag and IG) … which will result in coming across such stuff involuntarily… Although I am not watching the show now but will follow it may be by catching up on written updates given by you and others or watching precaps in app… but will work on staying away from all the negativity surrounding him…. 👍🏼

Yes thats what my stand is too... I am only concerned about his acting which I like. Also the bts fun reels also I enjoy but thats all temporary fun. And the first character I have seen is Meetwa after which I was impressed by his acting and checked a few clips from his previous shows THR, Shubharambh and KUDCA. Also watched Blind love. I might follow and see what the show he does next is about for some time. Depends on the show. Not sure if it will interest me or not.

You are right, it should not matter as long as there is justice done to the character being portrayed. I think it’s more of our thinking where it did impact me and probably few others as I struggled to separate the actor from character. Having said that it will take me time to connect back..I did say this yesterday that I could only wish that the track was so engaging that this offscreen IV didn’t really matter but unfortunately that didn’t seem to be the case too..

I might find the patience and watch the episodes..let’s see

This Meety pushing away Meetwa is being made too obvious. For now this is wrapped up in comedy.

However, at a later date, in the heat of their argument maybe Meetwa will bring out all his pent up frustration and say that she does not consider him her husband. She doing things against his will and not listening to him may add up to it.

This could be some kind of scene like how in the dhoby ghat, Meety accused him of not considering her his wife.

And it will hit her hard.

No yaar.. I don't think so.. but I would like to see this scenario on screen..👍🏼

Agree Anju, Like I looked at Meet for Ashi but the first episode was too OTT for me. But then I came across the hospital scene with Raj and then I went back and watched all the episodes.

The next project he does if the concept or story is interesting I will follow.. but if it is any one of the Saas - Bahu or 2 sis 1 man story, I wont even bother. I usually catch a serial once in a couple of years. the previous ones I watched was KRPKAB Season 1 and YUDKBH

I do enjoy his BTS bits, the live that he and Ashi came in Jan was a fun fun watch.. One of my favorites. I laughed through the entire thing.. Their joint IVs are fun. Again if it was all acting then we have 2 extremely talented leads and I am at the right place. If Meet had gone the multiple marriages or divorce way.. even the leads talent wouldn't hold me back.

I have not watched any show completely 😆 I start off when I get some time and then interest increases quickly but then drops as quickly as it rose too.... I think I have watched CID season 1. But season 2 onwards I dropped it bcz the initial shine was gone. Then I watched quite a bit of the show with Ronit Roy as a lawyer. Forgot the name. Another was Baa Bahu aur Baby. Baaki I have watched few episodes here and there when my mom watches. That way I have watched parts of IPKKND, Dharam Veer ( which I liked btw upto a certain point ).

To be honest I am stuck with Meet more because of this forum and not because of the show 😆

As we have all noticed, Shagun would do good in an undercover cop role... something with action...

on a lighter note … Babita is rishte ko lekr kuch jyada hi khush h kyuki uski family me ho ra h … itna k she is not even listening to Ragini who expressed concern for Isha .. I was like chachiji aap hi ki beti h .. apni beti k liye bolne me itni hesitation…

upar se ye Rajvardhan ko kya hua.. 9 months before jis insan ka naam tk ni sunna chahta ta aj uske bete se apni bhatiji ki shaadi krwa ra h … like how? why? Rajvardhan ko b aise kon si qualities dikhne lg gyi Rana family me … mere liye disappointment ki hierarchy me agr Meet H top pr h to Rajvardhan b second place occupy kr hi ra h …

It might come later i guess. there must have happened any incident where they started trusting mamaji and accepted him as family.. maybe he supported meetwa during that deep wala case.. meetwa must have shattered and mamaji handled him well..by giving guidance and proper support.. So Raj is like half-half accepted him..
