For me I always feel love was never a part of their chemistry ... love is just subconcious for them the mere nature... their true bond is a greater calling for them.... that's what makes them unique...

Itv has always been full of Lady dramas which I kinda can't tolerate but this rathore ladies are just class apart.... I can tolerate any number of rathore ladies if they r like this...

Oooh, that's such an interesting perspective - his love being abstract for now. I think you've hit the nail on the head!

Just noticing the first post but it just reminded me once again how the makers wasted every single opportunity they ever got during the wedding track. Couldn't we at least get Imlie to see Aryans mehendi? A glimpse and she is confused? Or Arpi telling her about how Aryans mehendi was so dark, Imlie must love him a ton, some bs like that. Any bs like that😭😭

bc, lbr, we are all fully aware that the age gap in the first relationship was very problematic and the writers in attempts to craft the most opposite man to adi, were also very cognizant of this, or they wouldn't have aryan constantly say we're not friends, i'm your boss (which he should! that is actually very professional and as it should be)

since it's ITV, clearly they're gonna get together and now they're married but he's first and foremost her mentor still), and then the "i'm 27 and 7 months" not just "I'm 27" but a specific month count which showed that canonically he's been paying attention.

plus! he's mentioned her age a few times and he's aware of how problematic that power differential can be if not handled appropriately, now that she's his wife it's a different thing entirely. (And Fahmaan turns 32 in september, and Sumbul 19 in November) so when the finally said canonically that Adi and GM were the same age, they had to make sure to give us an age for Aryan

and we know imlie inspires aryan and that he wants the best for her, so he loves her in the way he loves his family, completely and genuinely, but once he actually accepts that he's developed more feelings for her, and vice versa? it's going to be AMAZING.

imlie too, because social media has rightfully been calling her on her nonsense and the writers as well, they're finally shifting her from "i'm mad at aryan specifically for breaking my hard earned trust, and only care about narmita" to "okay i'm back to just being mad at aryan for ruining himself in this crusade because by doing so he ruined our relationship" because that was always the issue.

imlie was traumatized by her first marriage and the circumstances so seeing him do this to her because of revenge (even though we know it was a misguided attempt to protect her, and the adi being mad was a positive side effect) was what had her all riled up.

now she's in "i must protect and save my family" mode which includes Aryan so things are finally getting set back to the arylie normal, thank goodness!

all this to say that they love one another and only want the best for each other, and imlie is aryan's morality anchor!

fandom "have you absolutely lost your mind?!"

makers "oh, oh no, we gotta fix it. okay atif post all the cheesy quotes and stuff!"

makers "we know, subconscious aru! but the wedding has to go through!"

and along the way because this was truly spaghetti at the wall, nothing that would have eased the anger was shot because they were too busy just trying to pull the wedding together which is unfair to the cast, the crew, and the audience, AND it didn't even work for the advertisers, lol.

okay but when the show ends and we get a little flash forward to an adorable set of twins and one is named arvind/a similar name, and the other is a name in remembrance of dad??
