The scene in today's episode was endearing, but I would have loved for them to have a conversation about the impending big step they both are about to take. Here is how I imagined -
Anu is making tea. He is sitting and staring at her. She asks..
Anu: aap yaha kya kar rahe hai.. (something to the effect that everyone is outside why are you here, I feel awkward)😳
Anuj: mein ne pehle bhi kaha tha… tumhe akele kitchen mein kaam karne nahi doonga
Anu: toh phir kuch kaam kijiye, aise baithke kya kar rahe hai?🤔
Anuj: okay! Batao kya karna hai…… rubs his palms together readying himself to work
Anu: gives him chores to do … in the meantime she asks….
Aapko meetha zyaada pasand hai ya namkeen?
Anuj: Namkeen accha lagta hai, meetha bhi pasand hai… 1 or 2 you know… kyun pooch rahi ho?🤓
Anu: aise hi… muhje meetha bahut bahut pasand hai….😛😛

Anuj: irritated with her, 😡 interrupts ...“Mohatarma ! Log shadi ke baad honeymoon pe akele jaate hai. Saare parivaar sameth teerth yatra par nahi”
Anu: laughs… pata hai mujhe….. mein bass aapko sataa rahi thi… aap gusse mein bahut bahut bahut pyaare lagte hai…😳🤗
Anuj: achcha! frames her face in his hands and brings them close to his own… his eyes hover over her lips, he tilts his head to meet her lips…..just then they hear the sound of tea boiling on the stove overflows… just like their cup of happiness.❤️
Anuj: Kisses on her nose and says…. “shadi ke baad dekh loonga…… shadi ke baad..” and frees her from his hold.😉❤️
Minutes later after fixing tea & snacks they both come out and offer it to everyone. They both sit next to each other, and Anu announces to everyone…
Anu: bapuji… hum dono ne decide kiya hai ki bahut simple shadi hogi. Shadi, woh radha-krishn ke mandir me hoga. Wahi, jo jignes bahi ke dukan se aage padta hai…
Anuj: adding to what she said, he continues…..bapuji, mein jaanta hoon ki aap shadi aapke ghar me rakhna chahte the. Lekin, hum dono chahte hai ki hamari shadi mandir mein ho.
Anu: Bapuji, kanyadaan ki vidhi aap hi karenge… par shadi mandir mein hogi. …
Everyone has mixed feelings about this idea and try to argue with them. But eventually give in their wishes.
Anuj: Anu, Shadi ke baad.. ..…woh bhi bataa do sabko…
Anu: starts to blush thinking about honeymoon and the intimate moments they had in the kitchen and begins to fumble on words.... woh mein, kaise…. kya kahoon.....😳😳
Anuj: Chalo…. Mein bata deta hoon… shadi ke baad, shaam ko… he looks at her teasingly…..😉
Anu: is nervous, embarrassed thinking about what he is about openly tell everyone…😵
Anuj: Shaam ko, ek choti si reception rakhna chahte hai…. Mere business partners, colleagues ke liye…
Turns to look at her… “shadi ke baad… “ and winks at her 😉

Honestly, I am not interested in candy floss romance for this show. I wanted to see the protagonist progress after divorce and create an identity of her own in a male dominated world. The story has taken different turn after AK was introduced, and I still hoped to see her liberate.
But, I can’t seem to understand where the story is going. Neither can I stand the silliness that is weaved into each episode. So tried to write something I would have liked to see while keeping the romantic zing in place.😊
