You just described the perfect love story. Rich and arrogant CEO falling helplessly in love and obsessed with a plain looking heroine.

The one actress in recent times by who I was completely blown away, mostly for her looks and a little for her acting is Simona Brown - who played Louise in "Behind Her Eyes". There's just something about this gal.

I've seen this show "behind her eyes". Didn't like the actress much (as a beauty). The show was a bit slow for my taste but the finale episode was shocking.

I'm watching Vikings at present. After that i may watch an episode or two and see how it goes.

Btw some other friends of mine have been discussing Bridgerton (since season 1) so much that I'm already pakaofied.😆

Likha Kate Sharma hai pata nhi kyu why I read it as Kim Sharma and was thinking wow she got a big project. Thread khola and I was like ye kaun hai and then went rechecked name.😆

Aah! That’s a progress from having no intentions to watch at all 😆

Bridgerton S1 was too raunchy for my liking, if that makes any sense. But it was a super duper hit, quite understandably so 😆
S2 is pretty wholesome though ❤️

I honestly did not get the hype on S1. But S2 is definitely more like pride & prejudiced, more bantering and eyelocks. I definitely preferred the 2nd season

I watched the 1st episode of season 2 and I can proudly say it was very much on the lines of what I expected 😎😆

I watched Bridgerton season 2. Complete!

And I must confess I did like it. Its was predictable but quite watchable.😳

But then, I am a sucker for British period dramas. I don't know why but I have a strange fascination with the old British charm. 🤷🏼‍♂️

P.s. - may I suggest Sanditon season 1, if you haven't already watched.
