So many moments throughout the movie where I had tears on my eyes, especially the final match, I loved the film and I would watch it again.

Ranveer was just outstanding as kapil, he displayed every emotion with so much conviction, everyone in the film did well, you can really see the hardwork they put onto this film

Another strong point why this failed is if it would have been 2011 WC, it would have been a blockbuster.

People who grew up with 1983 WC have grown up to be in 40s now. This age category don't really show up in big numbers due to work load, kids and waning interest in movies.

People who are still in 20s and 30s are the major audience who goto theatres and give a boost to other age categories to see a movie if its good or not. If it was 2011 one, everyone would have gone to the theatres with a lot of emotions.

With 83, nobody has any idea how the atmosphere was when winning the WC its just random information and sayings but we are more exposed to the 2011 one in comparison.

Am sure there are more people who want to watch Sachin, Dhoni, Kohli and the team than the team in 80s. People cannot connect.

Good film but I feel like it could have been executed better, also that made up stuff about the army was so unnecessary imo.

Ranveer and Deepika were both great though, and Deepika looked beautiful even with that 80s hair 😆

Since 1983 we reached world cup finals twice and won once. People have already experienced the feel of winning the world cup. Now it is not really out of our reach anymore.

This cricket crazy nation of ours would rather watch a real match and experience real feelings rather than get it by watching the movie of an historical event.

The makers of the movie thought they could exploit the craze for cricket and cashing in on that craze. But people taught them a lesson.👍🏼

Makers exploit the pain and plight of the dead and the those suffering.....cricket is still a sport....nothing wrong in making a movie an that...its OK that u didn't like the movie.....I did...people don't teach anyone a lesson....they watch what they like...they make trash masala movies a hit too...😆
