A deeply emotional and endearing moment unfolded on Tum Ho Naa – Ghar Ki Superstar , as host Rajeev Khandelwal took a nostalgic turn, opening up about his bond with his mother while doing something beautifully simple, making chai for the contestants.

In a rare and personal revelation, Rajeev shared that it was his mother who first taught him how to make tea. With warmth in his voice, he recalled, “Mujhe chai banana mummy ne sikhaya.” What followed was a touching glimpse into his childhood, as he described the unique role he played in his family. “Main apni maa ki beti tha. Hum teen bhai hain lekin beti main tha,” he said, smiling at the memory.

He fondly remembered how, on quiet Sunday mornings, he would often ask his mother if he could make chai for her. “Kabhi kabhi Sunday wale din main mummy se pooch liya karta tha ki mummy main chai banaun? Mummy muskurake bolti thi ki jaa bana le.” It was a small gesture then, but one that carries deeper meaning for him today.

Tho aaj maine socha ki hamari jo superstars hain jo itna door se chali aa rahi hai, kyu na unki thakaan main apni mummy ki sikhayi hui chai se mitau

Reflecting on those moments, Rajeev added with emotion, “Aur main jaanta hoon ab ki uss samay mummy ki thakawat shayad mere iss poochne par se hi khatam ho jaati ho.” His words resonated with a quiet realization how love often lives in the simplest acts of care.

Carrying that sentiment forward, Rajeev decided to recreate that feeling for the contestants who have journeyed far to be on the show. “Tho aaj maine socha ki hamari jo superstars hain jo itna door se chali aa rahi hai, kyu na unki thakaan main apni mummy ki sikhayi hui chai se mitau,” he shared, before personally preparing tea for them.

More than just a gesture, it was a tribute, a son’s way of honoring his mother and the values she instilled in him. In that moment, the stage of Tum Ho Naa transformed into something more intimate, where memories, gratitude, and love blended as effortlessly as a cup of chai.
