What a simple, yet breathtaking sight it was to behold. Gosh, how beautiful does love look on both of them. ❤️ The way my heart ached so much for Narmada aunty and Arpi didi. How could anyone ever have the heart to hurt these beautiful humans. Despite herself not having the will to participate in the rasam and having the opportunity to wreck it, Imlie choosing instead to be her precious self, taking a stand for them and even Aru, was very heartwarming. I was just starting to wipe my tears off when Aru said “aap Imlie ki jijaji lagte hai” to Aditya, and it made me chuckle so fast. 😂 I had a nice time with this one.

PS. Who in the world gets people to pose like in Titanic for their wedding pictures. 🤦🏽‍♀️🤣🤷🏽‍♀️

Exactly! She stood up for the two and got the ritual completed even though that was the exact opposite of what she wanted (this marriage). She didn’t let her personal feelings for Aryan and the situation cloud her love and respect for Narmada and Arpita and that takes strength. I disagree with Aryans statement in the last episode about Mahaanta not being a sign of strength. Like all things, it depends on context but to push your interests aside for the well being of others is a hard ask.

bigger question -- who does couple poses in front of your loved ones and elders? won't people die of embarassment? isn't that why couples are taken away to a separate room to pose so that friends and cousins don't heckle and tease? 😂

Honestly, same.

I was like what is even going on? right infront of family and guests.

That photographer was even worse, 'now kiss'🤣

When was she ever scared of him?

And her eyes were closed, she was lost in the moment for sometime, though it wasn't explored much, even I'm confused 😕

The entire execution was done so nicely, his hands moving past, caressing her fingers, her tightening, her eyes, curious, whats gonna happen next, when his hand touches the cheek, madam giving in by closing eyes...then we know who's the boss..absolutely well done..ASR was a goner..

It does make me wonder…. Imlie didn’t oppose at all. Not the slightest. So she clearly loves his closeness and is comfortable with it. Yet behaves as if she hates him? Or maybe she doesn’t want to hate him but what he says to her makes her hate him.

I seriously wanted to hear her monologue or what went on in her mind. But thats the suspense factor.

She loses herself in his proximity. In an earlier episode where she was attacking him, I think after she found out he did her mehndi, he pulled her closer to himself and she went limp. She just stared into his eyes and became helpless. It’s like his touch softens her and brings out the vulnerability she tries to hide in her fierceness. Think about it, Imlie is this chirpy bubbly human even in times of distress she does nautanki or she gets mad because she can’t let herself cry or become weak infront of others. But one touch from him and she lets the cover blow.

She’s said it many times, she doesn’t want to hate him and she can’t fully. She just wants her best friend back, the ABP she trusts back. She’s conflicted because the image of him in her heart, the one that gave her more than she asked, who gave her courage and wisdom and support, doesn’t match up to the man before her. The man whose eyes she used to read quote well are now hidden from her - he’s a closed book and it hurts.
