Why this song?

I watched the episode and thought it was stupidly funny but I am totally pissed off after seeing the precap... Why this song for Sai and Pakhi???? 😡

Pinga is a Marathi folk song which they reappropriated for Bajirao Mastani film. So that's the latest association for people hearing it.

But Kashi and Mastani truly loved Rao. Didn't compete with each other and certainly didn't try to upsmart each other. Also Bajirao didn't downgrade either of the two relationships. In real life and to some extent in the film. (I have read the original Marathi novel Rau on which the film is based).

Also, for that point of time in history it was okay to be polygamous... But certainly not now. 👎🏼

They had earlier linked Sai with Kashi in that guroor dialogue. I loved it then.. ... But by that extension, is Pakhi Mastani???? The one true love? And Sai is Kashi? Official and legal wife for all intents and purposes... But who was betrayed because she trusted him so much?

Yuck yuck yuck...what kind of imagery and symbolism are they suggesting with this?

Yes the song selection is bad unless they show it is selected by Pakhi! Because such a triangle only exists in pakhis mind… I hope they show that detail.

Btw that was the only saving grace of the episode... The pretence is off... He really loves Sai.. . And i am glad Sia was making videos... Ye proof banenge when he behaves rudely later. 😡

yes I saw the clip and that detail was there which they tried to show. I hope they show something sensible behind that inappropriate song selection 😈
